I recall not long ago that she was looking for a way out of the 'diva' marketing hole she dug herself after dropping Mottola. The whole diva image is played out is what her PR people were telling her, and rightly so, because she'd become like a cartoon of a stale 90s diva-ho. First a part in an indie movie where she wipes off the make up and looks damned plain and now this. Maybe it will work, but at this point I think her Hello Kitty/whacketywhack image is set.
