Madonna's Tribute To Michael Jackson
Last night, Vadge opened the latest leg of her "Sticky & Sweet" tour at London's O2 Arena. This is the same joint where Michael Jackson was supposed to play a bunch of shows. Vadge honored MJ with a small tribute during her show.
In the tribute, one of her dancers dressed up as Michael Jackson and danced around while Vadge posed in the background. At the end, Vadge broke out her British ringmaster voice when she said, "Let's give it to one of the greatest entertainers the world has ever knooooown!"
I'll admit that when I heard Vadge was going to pay tribute to MJ in some way, I did get a little tingly. I thought Vadge would recreate her amazing performance of "Billie Jean" complete with her gorgeous 80s slutty wedding dress and dancers in white denim vests. Now THIS is a tribute:

I'm really not trying to be a jerk, but this is the guy who basically chased down Dr.'s to keep him numb. Left his kids with massive debt and is is now worth more dead than alive because of his atrocious spending habits. The guy who was on the outs with his own family because of his drug abuse.

CrazyGal, if I were you, I'd be more concerned that a congressman, whose job it is to represent the people of his district and uphold the U.S. Constitutiion, actually would contradict the jurors' decision in MJ's case and perpetuate a LIE.
Ironic that Pete King wants to honor people who fight for our rights, but then doesn't uphold our rights when it really matters.
Open your eyes. We live in a world where trusted, "legitimate" news sources have been picking up stories straight from the tabloids about MJ. At least 3 of the stories about the nanny and the supposed widepread drug use were PROVEN wrong. Yet, when they corrected it on CNN, they mentioned it was wrong for like 2 seconds and move on to the next subject. Well, what about the dozens of hours they had already spent reporting the wrong info.? If you didn't catch that 2 second blurb, you still believe the bullshit cuz you saw it on the "news." I just read TMZ that Congressman Pete King said we should be honoring the men and women of the Armed Forces and not a "pedophile" and "child molester" like MJ. I don't even like Pete King but man, he's got some balls. He just said what a lot of people have been thinking for a few days now.
