Madonna's Tribute To Michael Jackson
Last night, Vadge opened the latest leg of her "Sticky & Sweet" tour at London's O2 Arena. This is the same joint where Michael Jackson was supposed to play a bunch of shows. Vadge honored MJ with a small tribute during her show.
In the tribute, one of her dancers dressed up as Michael Jackson and danced around while Vadge posed in the background. At the end, Vadge broke out her British ringmaster voice when she said, "Let's give it to one of the greatest entertainers the world has ever knooooown!"
I'll admit that when I heard Vadge was going to pay tribute to MJ in some way, I did get a little tingly. I thought Vadge would recreate her amazing performance of "Billie Jean" complete with her gorgeous 80s slutty wedding dress and dancers in white denim vests. Now THIS is a tribute:

I like the Madonna concert remixes (check YouTube for the AWESOME Disco Inferno rendition she does).
MJ totally deserves the acclaim - he had over 25 songs that were hits and unlike most assholes, he did try to send a social message out via words and music.
As for Madonna, I love her. I mean, you listen to her songs and you just get an energetic vibe. Her singing ain't the best, but nobody EVER claimed that. Somehow though, her songs rock.
Wouldn't be a bad idea for Madonna to cover those hideous veiny hands with a pair of MJ gloves.

When is this fucking shit going to end over the most overrated musical act ever? MJ is nowhere near as good an entertainer as he is being given credit. If he was, he would've been cranking out hit after hit long after Billie Jean. Instead, he did that shit album and video with his sham wife Lisa Marie. He was good as a kid, good when he was older but a one-trick pony of crotch grabbing and hiccuping through songs.

My favorite Madonna song is "Crazy for You." It was actually one of the first M songs I had ever heard growing up. My Mom would play KOST 103.5 at night to help me fall asleep and that song would play every night practically. <3!
