agreed, i had to do it twice cos i stayed at a friends and took a shower, and hell between rewearing dirty underwear (nasty) and going without, i chose without and felt so gross the whole time.
My immediate thought for the short skirts was Calista Flockhart. When she was oh-so-happening and fresh on Ally McBeal she was notorious for shortening her skirts on set.

Crazy - Yes, I loved it, so did the BH and the spawns. But it was LONG. 2 hrs 40 minutes. It's got A LOT of back story going on but lots of action. Just need to ignore Megan Fox's inflated lips. She must have had them plumped right before filming.
