The Emmy Nominations: True Blood ROBBED!

what about shows like "Chuck", "The Shield"'s last season, Katy Seagal in "Sons of Anarchy". No 24? it was the last decent season we've seen since the greatly appreciated death of Kim Ravers characters

The only reason that "30 Rock" is probably still around is that it is a sardonic echo to what actually happens in the NBC studios.

Nelsen Ellis (Lafayette) and Ryan Knewiel (Jason) should have nominations and at least best writing.

And "Family Guy" got nominated over all the years "The Simpsons" was one of the best shows on TV??? Oh yeah, Lisa and Brat and the brats from "South Park" are planning a drive by!

So crappy that True Blood was completely shut out. Lafayette and Eric are the best characters on the show. I wish the actors would have at least been acknowledged, though Eric/AS was not that prominent last season. I am also pissed about Vincent Kartheiser/Pete from Mad Men getting snubbed. That's just criminal!

As a New Zealander I am happy that flight of the conchords got a nom. I'm also a huge trueblood fan and a bit disppointed that they got snubbed. Ratings means nothing...

Breaking Bad is fucking brilliant. United States of Tara is a pretty interesting show. I watched an epi of big love the other day...I'll have to netflick the rest of the series. It was pretty good.

Family Guy stopped being funny halfway after the 3rd season. I recently went on Hulu to catch a few of the new episodes and they SUCKED. Boring!

I wouldn't call Weeds a comedy and I don't think the series deserves an Emmy, as the writing the last two season SUCKS. But Parker has been pretty good considering the crap material (even if I hate Nancy). And Collette's really good in US of Tara.

I also bet MJ. Fox gets the Emmy just because.

i honestly (and dont hate one me with this) why people like the american version of the office. its just not funny..esp after watching the uk version. ricky gervais is a genius, and where steve carrell is funny (and i do like him) its just not the same.

I don't find it very funny either. I've only seen a handful of episodes, and some of the jokes were clever. But, for the most part, I think people at my actual office are funnier and more interesting than the characters on that show. However, I have friends who love US Office (and who quote it liberally), so I guess it's just not my kind of humour.

I'm glad to see Dexter getting so many nominations. I doubt he'll win (since the first two seasons were better than the third), but M.C.H. is always wonderful on that show.

Kinda hilarious, since she got into choreographing because she was a shit dancer. Those who can't do, teach.
