I feel bad for Tom. I think He's comfortable being goofy, and he's an actor for goodness sake, he's going to be a little eccentric. I don't think he's evil or brainwashing Katie. I think his comments about not using medications for depression,ADD,etc, were not meant in the way it was portrayed in the media. I think there is some validity to his opinion that too many doctors are throwing pills at patients instead of getting to the heart of the matter. I believe that antidepressants are necessary for those with true chemical imbalances, like those with "baby blues",traumatic events,or bipolar disorder. Unfortunately doctors will prescribe them for being tired,having no motivation,or anger issues. The truth is that most people will get off them eventually & be right back where they started,not having dealt with the true issues. I think Tom seems like a pretty nice guy. I remember when someone squirted water in his face while doing an interview on a red carpet somewhere. For what?jumping on Oprah's couch? Really?
