Twilight Ginge Switch
Rachelle Lefevre, who played the role of Victoria in the first two Twilight movies, has been replaced with Richie Cunningham's daughter Bryce Dallas Howard. Summit issued a press release that said Bryce will take over the role for Eclipse. They said Rachelle isn't able to shoot the movie due to "scheduling conflicts."
Uh. Huh.. "Scheduling conflicts" is bullshit talk for "bitch got fired" or "bitch wanted more cash" or "bitch was sick of Twitwards getting in her life" or "bitch wanted to do real acting." Let's be real.
I can only imagine how the Twihards are going to handle this. I remember when I almost choked a ho when One Life to Live replaced Asian Blair Cramer with White Blair Cramer. My soul wasn't right for months after they pulled that shit!
And as much as I appreciated Bryce Dallas Howard's amazing work in Lady in the Water, I think the Twilight bitches cast the wrong ginge. If they really wanted to make Eclipse a phenomenal blockbuster sensation, they would've given international supermodel and scene stealer Phoebe Price the role. I mean, nobody can pose with an inanimate object (I'm looking at you, Kristen Stewart) the way PP can! It's totally going to flop now.

Maybe i'm missing something, but i don't remember her having any lines in the Twilight movie...i have to admit though that i wasn't really paying attention...i can see how the fans might be upset however, i hate when characters change in a series (Harry Potter's Dumbledore-i know the original actor died, but still....even after three movies i don't like the replacement)

Well, there's apparently no set vampire mythology (as the variations with Twilight, True Blood, and Anne Rice novels will tell you). Hell, even in Dracula, he appeared in daylight in one scene, which is probably more like Bram Stoker forgetting his own rules than anything else.

ok...so last weekend i finally watched Twilight and it was god-awful! since when does a vamp glitter in the sun?!? i thought they were supposed to turn to ash! and Kristen Stewart was HORRIBLE! i don't think i've ever seen anything with her in it before, but i'm suprised she can continue to get work after that performance....

No matter who they cast...Twilight and all its sequels suck ass...worse vampire stories EVER...and the casting is just as bad. Lady in the Water sucks balls (and not in a good way) so this redheaded chick at least can add another big caca turkey to her resume.
I don't mind Bryce. I think she has an otherwordly vibe that would fit the movie. The other one just looks like a cool college chick who has always has the weed. Then again I've never watched the movie or read the books, so whadda I know?

I feel bad for Lefevre. SHe was gr8 at Victoria but I do suspect Daddy Ron Howard pulled some strings though Bryce Dallas is a good actress and good at being creepy. I cant see Dallas doing the physical part of the role but let see. I too share your love of ginge and ginge gayelles are my favorite.
I dont understand y everyone bashes Kristin Stewart. I think its endearing that she is clutsy and not comfortable with fame and being in the spotlight. Plus she has been working for a long time since being the child in Panic Room. Would we rather she was a coke and fame whore ala Lohan? I think not.

I can tell you right now, I AM a twihard, and so far the general concensus among everyone is disappointment for the switch-up (which is always annoying in movies), but satisfaction as well. There are some dippy actresses out there who would probably be vying for the part, and Summit could have easily cast a bad choice (like Kristen Stewart, but I won't get into that here...). Everyone seems to agree that Bryce is a solid actress with her own slight creep-factor, and can probably pull off the role. I'm sad to see RL go, because so far she defined the part of Victoria on film, but I'm cool with the choice.

Twilight isn't actually as bad as alot of people say. You have to remember the target audience for the books and the movie.

I think Bryce will fit the role much better...These vampires are supposed to be breathtakingly beautiful & so far not many of the actors in the film (besides Pattinson, in my humble opinion) can actually pull it off. The casting so far has been pretty crappy, but the first movie was very mediocre as well. Now that they are getting better directors, they can get better looking actors that better fit the roles as gorgeous vampires. I think the original red head girl was fired, Twilight is wildly successful now, so what mostly unknown actor in their right mind would give up that kind of money for a scheduling conflict?
