Open Post: Hosted By The Kitten With Eyebrows
Japan has officially become the land of animal eyebrows (aka the land of all things important)! First, they brought us the Columbo dog with eyebrows and now they have delivered the lil' pussy with brows (insert landing strip joke here)! No Sharpies were used in the making of this kitten's eyebrows. They are au naturale.
Don't even say pussy's brows are all shades of wonky, because they aren't! They kind of look like angel wings, which makes sense since a pair of exquisite eyebrows are a gift from God.

I just looked at the posts before mine-how awful! I'm going to say this in hopes it makes a difference: Reload 'daisy-cutter' bombs with fire retardent foam/gel/powder, take out ALL the shrapnel(that anti-personell crap). The DC blows out in a circular pattern & also downward. This might work very well & get a peace-time use to put out fires from a former killer weapon.
I love Dlisted, because it helps to divert my attention away from crap I can't do a thing about.

I'm watching a film from 1944, "The Impatient Years" with Jean Arther; a quickie marriage because he was going off in WW2; she got knocked up & by the time her man comes home she's ready to divorce him.
The 'greatest generation' was alot more honest in that they showed Human emotions, flaws-that awesome film "The Women" says it all. Norma Shearer struggling with her hubby's dalliances w/Joan Crawford; the remake sucked elephant balls.
Jean's hat at the courthouse was small-she has those wonderful Sydney Guilaroff bangs...anyway I LOVE the chennille dot hat veiling.
Her character's dad gave great insight into their marital troubles, said she is too married & that her husband is too unmarried since they were together for only a few days before he had to leave.
The 1930s & 40s are my favorite era, I love the hats & clothes, & shoes-but the handbags were HORRENDOUS! I've bought some vintage hats on ebay & have some slips & peignoirs-they are so much better made than today's lingerie. But I have never seen high-end, the Cow Town I live in has NONE of those stores, closest is San Franciso.

Yes, yesterday. I'm about 20 miles SW of the fires. We got ours a few years ago, so we should be ok for a bit. The only effect here has been ash and smoke. But the views are insane: 20,000' pyro-cumulus clouds for days.

Today my daughter was on a tire swing with a couple of other little girls at the playground and TINA FEY was pushing them! I was chatting with my neighbors who I ran into at the playground and the husband was like "Isn't that Tina Fey?" It totally was! I fucking love her, but I didn't have the balls to strike up a conversation.
Actually, no one talked to her, because I think we all just wanted to let her have some fun time with her kid in the playground. But maybe it sucks because no one will talk to you. Maybe she WANTS the other moms to talk to her about where she's sending her kid to school and how many mosquitoes there are this year, etc. But I didn't want to seem stupid.
