Drunkblogging: The MTV VD Awards
If your tongue will not be permanently attached to the TV screen for the True Blood season finale tonight, then grab a bong, bottle or both and suffer with me through the MTV VDAs. Everyone is shocked by something that took place at MTV's Video Music Awards. There was a huge stink at the MTV Awards – probably because Kanye West has lost his mind. For a person that doesn't write all his own music, Kanye West seems to think that he has more talent than he does, which is why he thinks that he can interrupt the Video Music Awards to announce that Beyonce Knowles had a better video than Taylor Swift, while she was accepting an award. ("All the Single Ladies" is a few women dancing around in leotards – it's boring, but they gave her a token award anyway.) Kanye West is really an egomaniacal cad.

I enjoyed every single moment of it! Loved all the performances. Pink was extraordinary, so passionate and on a trapeze. Green Day was awesome.
RPattz was delectable.
Taylor Swift was like a fairy tale princess with her golden locks and gorgeous red dress.
Russel Brand was so entertaining.
Lady GaGa sang "Paparazzi' and she definitely was a sight to see, all splattered with dripping blood. I have to admit she can SING.
And Jay-Z and Alicia sang a song "New York" at the end, with that immense Statue of Liberty in the background brought patriotic tears to my eyes.
So apparently, Kanye is already apologizing on his blog.

Usually, I am not all for Beyonce. But, what she did was classy and considerate. I don't see anything wrong with it. Deserved or not, it was Taylor's moment and she didn't deserve what Kanye did. The girl looked mortified.
