Squinty Zellweger won't be going on the KFed diet to gain the chunk for Bridget Jones 3, because she doesn't want to put her body through all kinds of hell. And because eating gives her hives.
Instead, Squinty will pull a "Fishsticks Paltrow in Shallow Hal" by slipping on a fatty fat fat suit in size: Kirstie Alley. A source told Reveal Magazine (via SFGate), "Renee will be wearing a fat suit in the third film as it took her a while to lose the weight last time. She's also thinking about the effect quickly putting on and then losing 30 pounds has on her body."
And here I thought Squinty was a true Thespian who eats for her art. Squinty is WEAK. Somebody remove the Oscar from her clenched b-hole, because she does not deserve it!
Can I get a RECAST?! The producers of BJ3 obviously need someone who is will to do whatever it takes (aka EAT like food is going extinct) to accurately portray the character. She was way too fat in the sequel of the Brigdet Jones movies. Brigdet Jones is not fat. She is a bit chubby, but not fat. She looked really good in the first movie. She had sexy curves and yet was toned. In the sequel she was all wobbly and looked very unattractive. While it was plausible in the first movie that Daniel Cleaver and Mark Darcy threw punches at each other on the streets for her it was totally ridiculous and highly unlikely that they really would have done this for that fat cow in the second movie.

I say put on the weight or don't play the part. Fat suits are distracting. And you signed on to play that part. They get paid extremely large sums of money to do this "work" now they are concerned about the time and physical toll on their body. You know sitting in this hell hole doing nothing for 8.5 hours a day kills me makes me fat and all office workers suffer from lack of sunshine and fresh air.......and I don't get paid an nth of the ridculous amount actors make.

Even when she packs on 30lbs she is still not even remotely fat, she just gets bigger boobs & curvier hips which I would think is a plus. She probably weighs 100lbs, puts on 30 & weighs 130. Big whoop! She looks better with the weight on than off anyway.

People seem to be more accepting of the dumb model than the fat intellectual. I'm really starting to think that if you want to be in the spotlight as a fat person you will be a constant target for ridicule and if you're somehow not a target, then you're in the shadows--invisible at parties, the individual no one wants to get with.
It's totally understandable that Renee doesn't want to put on the chunk. Even if everyone knows she would be doing it for a role, she'd still have to look at herself in the mirror like that and know that everyone was talking bs about it.

But Renee does the Enlgish accent soooo well. Shes a great actress so normally I would be all eager for a plus size person to take the role, but Renee's acting abilities and her way of really getting into the character is second to none
