Michael Jackson Once Said Something About Hitler
MICHAEL JACKSON PRAISED HITLER!!!! No not at all, but that's what The Sun is kind of poking at with their story about how MJ once said Hitler was a "genius orator" during a taped conversation with his so-called friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. Yes, a genius "orator." You know my mind is always vacationing in the gutter, but I'm not even going to give that one a side-eye. I wonder if he spit or swallow? I'M STOPPING.
In taped conversations between Rabbi Shmuley and MJ obtained by The Sun (aka Rabbi Shmuley sold it to them in the back alley at midnight), the King of Pop reportedly says, "Hitler was a genius orator. To make that many people turn and change and hate, he had to be a showman and he was."
When Rabbi Shmuley asked MJ if he thinks he could've changed Hitler, he responded, "Absolutely. I know I could." He insisted nobody was all evil, explaining: You have to help them, give them therapy, teach them that somewhere, something in their life went wrong."HEALING with a moonwalk! It works every time.

You really can't win bringing up Hitler. Not all smart people use their powers for good. Aubrey and Jackson were right, there was something in him that made people follow him. I don't get why people are so up in arms when something like that is brought up. Why do we live in a society that can never seem to take off their rose colored glasses and face the truth? Everything has to be spoon fed and coddled. Pathetic. He wieled great power (even if it was for bad) and it takes genius to do something like that.
Hitler was a nut, just watch one of his speechs. He suffered from Parkinson's and was a speed freak that's why he lost the war. Oh and some say he only had one nut but this cannot be proven since the Russian's had his body for autopsy and may have fudged some facts...

Dinkum. Hitler WAS a genius orator. How else could an ugly man with a hare lip get millions of germans to follow his plan to exterminate their neighbors? It's not like the dude was extremely well hung or something. He had to have some talent-and making speeches was Hitler's.
I can see Michael being enthralled with Hitler. Michael himself was very into creating a master race in a fairy land with egg and sperm donors. That sort of thing was right up Hitler and Mengele's alley.
Yes, Hitler was a bad, bad man. But shit, he had to have some sort of genius going on to convince so many people that Jews, gays, etc. were bad and was almost able to bring a whole country down. But the killing of innocent people is bad news bears, and that's something I can't condone.

Well, according to all accounts, Hitler *was* a great orator and very charismatic. That's how he rose to power. That's how a lot of dictators/gurus/cult leaders rise to power; do people really think egomaniacal types gain followers by acting like crazy assholes in the beginning?

To me, evaluating Hitler's accomplishments solely on their merit is like evaluating the Dark Side of the Force from Star Wars; no matter how great the talent is, you can't seperate it's value from the fact that it's nearly always used in a malicious and evil way. To deny that Hitler was gifted or intelligent is ludicrous. The man convinced an entire country to do horrible things. That takes something special, unfortunately he used it for evil. Cognitive dissonance is a bitch. That is the reason why we have such a problem as a society rationalizing things: Hitler was influenced by the theory of evol., therefore it must not be true. Hitler was evil, therefore we cannot say he was gifted." There are so many more mass murderers out there.It says something about the education of people nowadays that the only reference they have is Hitler. People have been massacring each other for thousands of years. One time it is because of race,then because of religion,then because of ethnicity,sometimes because of ideology,tribal reasons etc etc. Most of the time though it is money but sold to people as if they have moral reasons to oppose the other group.
