DJ AM Died Of An Accidental Overdose
The New York City Medical Examiner has ruled DJ AM's cause of death as an accidental drug overdose. They added that in their opinion he didn't commit suicide.
The toxicology report shows that a bunch of drugs were found in his system at the time of his death. A shit load, actually. A Paula Abdul-load. You get the picture.
The M.E. said they found cocaine (crack or powder), OxyContin, Xanax, Vicodin, Ativan, Benadryl, Klonopin and Levamisole (a drug used to cute cocaine). The M.E. wouldn't say whether or not DJ AM had any prescriptions for the stuff found in his system.
The full report will not be released to the media.

What happened to your brother (and I'm very sorry, btw), did he have suicide on his death certificate or if he did not, did you want it as such?

I am talking about THINGS/SITUATIONS that could be handled ie: breaking up with a significant other, survivor's guilt,DRUGS/Alcohol abuse... etc. Come on and get real. has it occurred to anyone that he was just a big f*cking druggie? I know he was abused, in pain, survivors guilt, etc etc ad nauseam but c'mon. People go through some sh*t but not everyone turns to drugs...and not everyone is dumb enough to mix all of them together.
Whether it was pain or depression that drove him to do this, it seems obvious that he wanted it to stop.
I have a root canal scheduled for tomorrow morning but had to wait a week for it due to infection - pain, at times, I equated with getting a facefull of buckshot. Am on oxycontin, which I am juggling with T3s, ibuprofen and extra strength advil. Also smoking some primo kush for the pain, and enjoying a nightcap of 2 extra strength neo citrons. Right now I am having a cocktail. Am also taking some homeopathic stuff and swishing with clove oil. All this and I still feel the pain.
Gotta wonder what DJ AM was going thru....

Yes, crack is made from powder cocaine, but smoking powder cocaine is NOT the same thing as smoking crack since crack is a whole 'nother substance once it's cooked with baking soda. You can smoke the powder using aluminum foil but that shit ain't crack. If it were the same thing it wouldn't be classified differently by the DEA. Thanks for having a clue, jack. lol
