A Pedo Picture Of Brooke Shields Comes Down
When Brooke Shields was 10-years-old her mother stripped off her clothes, oiled her down, slapped some make-up on her and put her in a tub to pose for photographer Garry Gross (too easy). The photo was commissioned by Brook's mom who immediately signed the rights away. The photograph was later photographed by New York artist Richard Prince. Up until yesterday, the picture-of-the-picture (CONFUZING) been hanging in the Tate Modern in London, but after a visit from the police, Pedo Bear's favorite cell phone wallpaper has been removed from the museum. This was the first (and I"m guessing the last) time the photo has been exhibited in Britain.
The police are currently trying to figure out if the picture breaks child porn laws over there. Children's campaigners already piped in and said they felt the picture was a "magnet" for pedos. Hmm. That might explain why Gary Glitter temporarily moved into the Tate Modern's bathroom last week.
Gary Gross said he was disappointed that the British police considered it child porn. Mr. Gross told the Telegraph, "It certainly doesn't breach child pornography laws here because a judge said so. In order for it to be considered pornographic here, she would have to be doing something sensual or sexual. But she's not. She's just sitting in the bathtub."
The picture may not be hanging in the Tate Modern right now, but it is hanging all over the damn internet, so pedos can continue to gawk at there. Google it if you want a visit from Chris Hansen. He likes his iced tea with just a touch of hummingbird juice.
I'm guessing they yanked the portrait from Britain, because they are bringing it to the US as a way to lure Roman Polanski here. Dude is already on a plane. That was Detective La Toya's genius idea. Of course.

It truly is a miracle that Brooke is normal, got a college degree and is not into drugs. Her mother is disgusting to have let those pictures be taken, they truly are pornographic in taste and not the same as Brooke acting in dumb movies in certain suggestive clothing. But Brooke can thank her mom for being famous; that is, unless Brooke wouldn't have been discovered eventually which I highly doubt. Regardless, her mom's a nutter butter who exploited her li'l girl 'cuz she wanted money and fortune. Gross. Now her mom has some kind of age influenced debilitating disease, so she can fuck her up now in revenge. haha.

Agreed and I would naturally lean more to the free speech, no censorship side of things. But looking at these, my gut actually tells me it isn't art. I don't find the photographs smart, daring (other than it's a naked child), or aesthetically pleasing in any way. And the photographs themselves don't even seem to make any commentary about anything. So what is the point if not to be titillating. (I know this is all just my opinion). My sympathies to Brooke Shields who obviously tried for some time to keep those pictures from being public (after their initial printing).
Oh, and fuck Playboy too.

A ten year old shouldn't be posing naked for any purpose, but usually the pose and facial expressions can just give away far much more. I don't blame Brooke Shields at all for wanting these pictures disposed of, and it is her mother's fault entirely. Brooke Shields didn't know any better.
Then again, we're talking about a girl whose mother apparently allowed her to act in movies that were far too mature for her, at what? Twelve.
Kudos to Brooke Shields for keeping stable and not travelling down the path of addiction and promiscuity. Poor lady.

This has to be some publicity stunt because A. Brooke Shields spent her whole childhood naked in everything from movies to print ads and no one, including her mother, gave a hoot and B. because the photo sounds like something annoying friends with kids post on Facebook. All I found in a Google search was that she tried to buy back the negatives in 1981 but was unsuccessful, and a judge ruled she was a victim of circumstance by adults. I could not find anything about what Brooke wants to do with the picture now.

My point is that I find more negatives today than I did then. We have made improvements in lots of areas and regressed in many others. Life wasn't perfect and my family had a lot of heartache and bad circumstances. However, I was blessed with a lot of good and kind people in my life.

I don't know where you grew up loozer, but I grew up in a farm town in Iowa about 40 miles away from the world and there was quite a bit of child abuse that went on. People either didn't talk about it or did talk, but accepted it because it was one of their fellow townies. I'm not saying every town was like that, but, at the same time, every town wasn't the safety haven you grew up in either. I'm definately glad you weren't exposed to it as a child though, it's not a nice environment.

that picture is so totally not appropriate.
the photos i saw weren't exactly the issue, its more the reaction they get.
the top one made me super uncomfortable, it looks like the exact kind of pose playboy models take, that particular photograph looks like kiddie porn to me just for that reason, its too sexual.
the other two, those look very innocent and harmless to me. if the set were just to consist of those i wouldn't bat an eyelash.
what really grossed me out though, are the comments below it on that page by men that state the pics made them 'horny' and they were going to use it as material for masturbation. that is just beyond repulsive, it made me wish i could reach through my computer screen and punch those pervy idiots in their pervy balls.
