My best advice to women is to make sure you put a lot of sunscreen on the area between the neck and boobs. You can't present the cleavage if the area above it looks like a 200 year old horse saddle.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is true. I use the same products on my neck and upper chest area as I do on my face. So worth it!
I third that! It works. I'm only 37, but it's working so far!
Hahahaha! Pulled a Joey! I didn't read any other Anne Rice genres.
MizRo's picture
MJT!! Why did it scare you, sweets??
I found it fascinating a la "One Hundred Years of Solitude" but with witches (my bad)!! Cyclical...
I read Lestat and Taltos too, they weren't anywhere near the quality of "The Witching Hour".
And I'm not comparing Rice to Garcia-Marquez. For realz.
Ok, truly out now!
MissJaneTexas's picture
The Witching Hour scared the bejeebus out of me. I had to pull a Joey from friends and put that book in the freezer.
I couldn't ever get into any of Anne Rice's smut. I tried to read the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty....but just didn't like it that much.
Yes! I love me some vampires, but The Mayfair witches will always be my favorite.
And I agree with you bitches about sunscreen. I slather it on everyday. I'm the whitest Chicana in America.
DeeDee!!!! "The Witching Hour" is one of my fave books of all time!! Wonderful...
All Anne Rice fans already know this, but she has written some really kinky porn as "A.N. Roquelaure," in the vein of "History of O."
Happy B-day to Alicia Silverstone - I love you for that uber-snub you gave Elisabeth Hasselcrack a few years ago!
Liev Schrieber's one of the best actors of his generation.
Linda McMahon? From that wrestling show with Vince McMahon? I plead guilty to channel surfing and stopping and laughing at the "divorce" routine where she beat him up and took his money in the center of the ring. He actually literally peed his pants. The Lucy and Ricky of the USA Network.
HB to all on this fine Sunday morning. As for Jackie Collins, a bitch has gotta do what she has to IN THIS ECONOMY.
I think I only read one Jackie Collins book in the early 80's on the beach slathered in BABY OIL.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ahh, memories! For me it was Hollywood Wives and Bain de Soleil orange gelee!

OMG!! Bain de Soleil was the shit, wasn't it?? It made your tan a way better color than that Hawaiian Tropic brand crap.

When I'm as old as Jackie Collins, I'm gonna go to the hairdressers every WEEK and get my hair done with rollers, sit under a hairdryer and then shellac that mess with Aquanet!

Mine is "The Witches of Eastwick". Love love love it.
************************************************

I kind of liked the movie when I first saw it, but AFTER I read the book, I HATED IT (the movie)! They ruined it. The women in the book were so much more interesting and multi-layered.

Naturally, the movie and the execrable TV series have barely anything in common with the book.

When I'm that age I'm gonna
1) Have a 'hair-do',
2) Wear more than one piece of leopard print at a time, and
3) Wear too much makeup!

Bring on old age!

Ditto GIG, except swap "Interview with a Vampire" with "The Witching Hour." I love that book

Is that the one with the Mayfair Witches? I haven't read that in a hundred years. *Off to find used copy*

She wishes she still looked like that! I actually have just re-read a few of her books. You can tell which celebs she's friends with IRL because she kisses their asses in the books. Like Michael and his "dramatically beautiful wife" Shakira. Blurgh.
