Captain Obvious Says Lindsay Lohan Needs Help
According to Michael Lohan, his daughter Blohan is in a bad way and is on the path to complete destruction. Instead of tying her to bed and getting Daddy Spears to perform an exorcism on her (using cheese grits), Michael ran off to Radar.
Michael said that right after he's done making money off of her by barfing all the details of her problems to the media, he's going to help her. Michael queefed, "I'm going to get her off the prescription drugs that she's on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse... because it's not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson."
Michael wouldn't say what kind of pills she's addicted to, but went on to say that they are ruining her life, "You know why Lindsay's not acting in feature films right now? Because she can't. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that's grown because of the prescription drugs. She can't be herself. When you hug her she's like, vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way-in a bad way. She's a different person. I was out there for a week when she was living at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and I would sit there and cry. It was horrible. This was not the kid I raised. Whoever the people are that came into her life and convinced her otherwise should be thrown in jail, because they're the same type of people who are responsible for the deaths of Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson and DJ AM. Everything was fine in our family until Dina and I got divorce. And that's when all the kids' lives started to unravel... including Lindsay's."
Michael Lohan is a true poet. Now I can understand why LiLo's eating pharmacies whole, because just reading his words makes me want to feed from one of Paula Abdul's nipples.
And the biggest fungus in her life goes by the scientific name of Michael Lohan. You heard the man, throw his ass in jail!
While Michael was singing and dancing to Radar, his daughter was in Paris partying it up with Busta Rhymes.

Lind's is probably on everything booze, coke opiates, pot whatever she feels like and whatevers going around. It looks like she dosen't eat and sleep much and thats why she looks so strung out and haggard. I always remember Marianne Faithfull saying that she had the sort of beauty that required regular food and rest. She made a bad junkie in that respect. Others can forgo food and sleep and not deteriorate quite so rapidly. A young girl I know of showed me some before and after photos of herself. She got caught up with a bikie gang and started using ice/meth. She was beautiful at 19 had worked as a stripper, and a walking corpse with brittle hair by 22. Tragedy. I hope she's recovered.
Mira, now Blohan has another reason to use more drugs: that asshole father of hers.
Why in God's name haven't either one of her parents set up some kind of an intervention on her instead of sobbing to the pondscum that is the press? Insurance companies will allow the parents to become legal guardians again if their child is putting themselves at risk to themselves - something she is obviously doing. They have all the money and power to step in but are they THAT stupid not to??? Where is their humanity?

It's been pretty obvious for awhile now that she's on opiates (oxy's, heroin). I looked into the same eyes every day for almost 10 years in the mirror - lazy, tired, empty eyes...occasionally rolling back into the skull. Oxy's and heroin were/are my drug of choice as well. She's only somewhat functional since she's also taking coke when she needs to be more 'alert', it's the only way to balance out and appear 'normal'. Definitely not meth or crack - she's far too relaxed-looking in the pap shots of the past year or so and meth/crack make a person appear wild-eyed since they are stimulants. norma_desmond, people keep suggesting that she'll die because she has no obvious support from family or friends and an opiate addiction is the worst one to battle, let alone when you have no-one holding you accountable, loving you fiercely, or fighting with you. Ask any ex-user or addiction specialist and they'll tell you the same, opiate addiction is the hardest one to beat. It feels like 'love' or a 'hug' every time you take a hit/pill/smoke/line/shot. It's the best feeling in the world, nothing hurts any more, everything is warm and soft - until the day comes (and it really does come far too fast) that you can't reproduce that loving feeling anymore, you 'chase the dragon' daily, hourly, or by the minute to get the love again. Then shortly after, you have to keep using just so you don't get sick, and drug sick is insane...I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Next, you have to take more and more to get closer to that 'love' in your mind, but your physical body just can't cope...overdose is too easy after awhile. I have heard it said (MANY times) that opiate addicts lack or lacked love in their lives and that the drugs were a replacement. In my case I can't say, always felt family/friends support but in LL's case I can definitely see some truth to it....I feel for her, I know where she is and if no one is strong enough to help her, where she's going.

I don't know. You are all saying she will die. But, she is a true testament to the strength of a human! Probably 10 years ago I was extremely worried about Whitney Houston. I had a dream where I called Whitney's mother and told her to go to court to become her guardian. That was 10 years ago and for a decade Whitney looked 80! She survived (her voice is awful, but she lived). And look at Mackenzie Phillips, James Taylor (functional heroin user) not to mention Keith Richard and all the Rolling Stones.
BUT! You know what would be amazing?..If Mr. Lohan cared enough to do the right thing and step in and ask the courts to give someone responsible guardianship of his daughter (it doesn't even have to be him). Martin Sheen did this with Charlie Sheen and look at how successful Charlie Sheen became. Also Natalie Cole's family stepped in for her too. She is young. She definitely could be saved. Why doesn't anyone care enough to help her?
What is with this new scrunched up face in every picture? She seems to get addicted to expressions and poses. First the hand on hip, then the peace sign, then the finger in the mouth, now the furrowed brow. I hate that I know this about her.
Lohan, get the fuck out of the national consciousness until you have something useful to offer. In the meantime, get your shit together. Far more of us have had to come back from far worse situations, and we are contributing members of society.

no one put drugs, legal or not, into Lindsay. She did it of her own accord after blowing many chances to get straight. You and she need to stop blaming everyone else and face that fact and until or unless she does, she has no hope of recovery!
I have a feeling that this is why she and Samro split. If so, Lindsay pushed someone who loved her and could have helped her out of her life. She chose the booze and the drugs over love. And that is squarely in HER court!

Okay, so dad is taking a little break from shopping his Douchebag Fathers reality show to tell Radar that his famous daughter Lindsay is strung out.
At no time during his weepy monologue does he mention his non-famous fifteen year-old daughter Ali, who is apparently being pressed into service as her sister's sober companion.
Or maybe he did express some sort of interest in removing Ali from her current environment of hotel rooms, clubs and parties and Radar just edited it out.
I'm very superficial, I hate everything official.
Her parents are trash, but she's an adult now. She's not a teenage runaway on the stroll; she is a world-famous "name" who seems to be enjoying her death/meth spiral. This will sound cold but why does she warrant such scrutiny while real people with *real* problems are left to twist in the wind alone?
So am I now to assume the the hip new thing is drinking Cognac directly from the bottle? First Kan-gay and now this latest bunch of losers.
I will feel no sympathy when her ridiculous twat is found splattered all over the walls of some sleezy hotel somewhere.

The first step for Blowhan is to quit doing drugs, which distort the perception of reality. But she appears to not want to quit using, so there is nothing anyone can do until she gets arrested and either thrown in prison or committed to a psychiatric hospital.
Why can't this train-wreck-of-a-family leave Hollywood and go clean up their act in obscurity? Why can't someone commit Blowhan to a psychiatric hospital or a lockdown rehab center?
one thing i can't help but wonder is - well, obviously he stresses "prescription" because that's legal(ish) and i guess he doesn't want to call her out on doing illegal drugs. But - can she be having a meth love affair or is it crack? because she doesn't have the meth face w/ the big sores and such - she looks stone-cold skin & bones which fits crack & yea they both age the skin - but she has "ginger" complexion, usually thin skinned and not the kind that stands up to the sun well - like the opposite of "black don't crack" so some of that is genetic & some is hard living. I remember partying when I was young, I didn't have her kind of money (although I think she hit financial bottom recently too) but it got tiring being like that. Hurt my college grades too. Still, i am still wondering isn't there a preference, for the COKE -OR- METH? I guess we all should be grateful not to have a problem to that degree. I hope she goes the rehab route, it seemed to help her before.

Ali needs to be saved NOW too: they let her drop out of HS just like Linds.

The state of California doesn't do anything to help parents either. My 14 yr old daughter had to right to refuse a lockdown facility we tried to put her in for drug abuse, and there wasn't anything we could do about it.

Lindsay Lohan is 23 years old. In other words, an adult. She knows right from wrong.
I understand what her father is trying to do - calling attention to her daughter's problem in order for Lindsay to realize she needs help (this is known as "shaming" a person with the goal of getting them to seek some help).
While I don't see her mother calling out Lindsay's behaviour and apparent drug use to the media, her father is at least trying - even if his methods are not the best format.
