White Oprah got into everything from the so-called intervention for LiLo to the name of her shoe line. Make sure to put the voice of reason in your head on mute before reading it, because if you don't, you'll only hear "put a straitjacket on her mouth" over and over again.
WO on Michael Lohan's public intervention for their daughter: "I don't go -- like my ex -- on national television and make things up. He's estranged from Lindsay; he doesn't know what's going on in her life. Michael doesn't talk to her. "I've had full custody of all my children for the last 10 years. He has been incarcerated for some of that time, so whatever is going on in Lindsay's personal life is our business. And for him getting paid to say things about her when he's five months behind in child support is wrong."
WO on Michael Lohan's behavior: "I can't change Michael to make him do the right thing -- that's up to him and God. But it is hurtful for a child for her own father, whom she has no relationship with, to say things in public about her like that."

Uh, I'm younger than that, and while I may have made some mistakes, I never fucked up half as royally as Lindsay Lohan had. I've never found myself in one shady relationship after another. Granted, I've made some friends who I regret ever befriended, but not every friend I ever had fucked me over. I've never been in and out of rehab several times or stolen anyone else's property. Of course I had gotten drunk, but I've never gotten so wasted that I found myself passed out in public, nor would I ever DREAM of getting into a car while inebriated. Not to mention, I never played hookie from any jobs I had just so that I could engage in the aforementioned activites. Why do you think this is?
It's not only because I have a shred of common sense, but because my mother taught me better than to act that way. Unlike Dina Lohan, my mother actually cares about me enough not to allow me to come undone, and my mother is not uptight by ANY means whatsoever. I understand that Dina Lohan believes that she's winning her daughter over by entitling her to such indecent behavior because of her age and that it makes her seem like the hip, free-spirited young at heart mother, but ultimately, all she is doing is cosigning on Lindsay Lohan's death warrant. Not that it matters anyway. I agree with everyone who believes that Lohan's parents want to stage an intervention for all of the reasons.
Michael and Dina Lohan can give a flying fuck about "saving" Lindsay. It's rather disturbing to me that it sincerely appears as though they're not keeping her alive because they want to protect her well being and appreciate her existence as being alive, but moreso that whenever Lindsay Lohan dies, they lose a great deal of opportunities. Of course they want to intervene on Lindsay Lohan's drug abuse because with the inevitable memoir, Lifetime movies, and numerous Oprah appearances, she'll be making even more money than ever when she's sober and not injecting, smoking, or snorting all of it.
Alternately, Dina and Michael Lohan actually believe that they have an image to protect, even though most people can see right through them. If Lindsay Lohan dies of a drug overdose or gets killed while in a toxic oblivion, then they become a liability. Deep down inside, they know that they're responsible for raising this time bomb and in the event of her death, it would expose them.
Disgusting, the whole thing.
It's also slightly annoying that Dina Lohan thinks that she's fooling everyone with the age card. Just so she knows, plenty of 23 year olds and younger are reading her nonsense right now, and know damn well what it's like to be "young". We're not that stupid. Once you learn the difference between what is right or wrong, you become responsible for your mistakes.
Even though I hope Lindsay Lohan recovers from the drug addiction and reckless lifestyle, I believe that she's an idiot. I never liked her, because she always has to blame everything she's fucked up on someone else. I know that I just mentioned that Michael and Dina Lohan failed to raise Lindsay Lohan, and you'd have to be completely out of touch to not agree, but Lindsay needs to wake the fuck up and get over herself.
Time after time has she refused to get help and envisioned rehab as a party and a free pass to stay away from working. She took advantage of going for all the wrong reasons, which is ultimately why she's worstening. Bullshit. Throw her into a REAL center, not into a spa disguised as a rehabilitation facility. Any true rehab experience is meant to be harsh, lest she learns nothing of it. Case in point. This dreadful facility trivializes substance abuse as being glamorous and fun. Disintegration from the inside out is NOT fucking pretty.
Anyway, none of this fuckery with Lindsay Lohan began until she was an adult. I'm sure she could have very easily resisted befriending the wrong crowd and taking the wrong path. She became friends with Paris Hilton, for fuck's sake. She didn't see a red light, with Paris Hilton's reputation being what it is? You've got to be kidding me. I'm sorry, but mixing with Paris Hilton on your own terms is always asking for trouble.
Even though she didn't remain best pals with Paris Hilton for very long (does anyone?), she was cited making appearances at these parties that were hosted by infamous Z-list celebrities involved in the drug scene. Why didn't she avoid it then?
Lindsay Lohan can only blame her father for being a dead-beat for so long until it's no longer valid, which quit being such a long time ago. In the meantime, her mother has the wool pulled over her eyes so tight to realize that she's an enabler and the evidence is right in front of her face! She's so blinded by her mother's favor and expensive gifts that she actually believes that her mother loves her any more than her father does. She has to be looking at the mirror at one point, realizing the mental and physical toll that her recklessness has taken upon her. How hasn't this been brought to her attention until now?
That's not love, that's outright fucking negligence. Obviously Lindsay Lohan is stupid and her priorities are so warped that love always implies materialistic "rewards" such as gifts from her mother or access to the trendiest clubs and parties from her "friends".
If Lindsay Lohan herself wasn't so shallow, she could have gotten the help she needed a long time ago, but apparently she is. Ultimately, what Lindsay Lohan needs is a kick in the ass and to go to a rehab center with actual credibility. She's been feeling sorry for herself for way too long and is self-entitled.
