I'm old enough to remember the Donny & Marie show. She was a teenager when she did it but was always made up to look older (it was the 70s, I guess). I'm pretty sure she's legit on the age as she's been citing 1959 since she was a kid... and she's got so many brothers that if she were to lie, it would throw them all off. I think Donny's two years or so older than her.
The whole she's younger than Madonna is freakishly weird though! It just doesn't seem that it should be right. By the early 80s when Madonna was coming out, Marie Osmond looked about 30 and would sometimes appear on The Love Boat (which would make her seem at least a decade older than that) -- but I guess she was only in her early 20s.
I do not believe for one second that Mary Osmond is younger than Madonna.
She most have shaved quite a few years of her age or this is a typo.
