A chihuahua daddy with a deformed leg (awwww) arrived at an Animal Care Services building in Texas with his 9 baby friends (double awww) looking for help. The chihuahua daddy was so determined to get his family to safety that he led all of them across a busy highway even though he has an effed up leg (triple awwwww). Employees at the ACS said this is the first time that a dog actually came in by himself without being brought in by a person or officer (quadruple aww).

The ACS think the dogs were dumped off on the side of the road by some evil doers. All of them are doing fine now even though that have a bad case of mange and ringworm (aka Wino-itis). It will take a few months to treat them, but they will be available for adoption after that.

I hope whoever adopts their asses keeps them all together. Don't force the daddy chihuahua with a deformed leg to make a SOPHIE'S CHOICE.

Humane Society always helps the animals, but Animal Defense League is an organization in San Antonio that will help dogs and cats and assorted fuzzy ones find new homes and get health care and love while they wait. I figured I would mention them because most people know of the Humane Society.

Seems my ex-con neighbor decided to get a rottweiler puppy.
The puppy is not obedient and doesn't "stop" when told: the asshole across the road actually STOMPED on the dog's back - HARD - and then grabbed him/her by the choke collar and lifted the dog off the ground and threw him into the yard. IN FRONT OF HIS DAUGHTER.

We have so many homeless dogs and cats in San Antonio. Some neighborhoods have roving gangs of large dogs. We have too many animal abusers here, and one animal abuser is one too many. Every other week there is a story about a burnt young dog, mutilated cats, and dumped litters on the highway. ACS is one of the most killingest kill shelters in America. If you want to help all the sweet baby dogs in San Antonio please give attention or money to Animal Defense League. No special holds only for newsworthy animals there. Just love and care for all the furry ones.

Poeple are such JERKS...a cat I adopted was found outside an animal shelter. Whoever dropped her off apparently did not want anyone to find out who they were, because instead of knocking on the door and handing over the cat, they came by during the night, tied her to a fence outside the shelter, and took off. When the shelter employees came by in the morning they found the cat tied to the fence. This is an area full of coyotes BTW. Stupid people. This cat is still grumpy and rather distrusting of people (but I love her!).

Awww! Those dogs are SO. GODDAMN. CUTE! I wish I could take one. One of my dogs is from a rescue center resulting from almost the same exact situation (fucking losers abandoning puppies on the side of the freeway), but in this case my girl was the only one that made it. She's one of the best dogs in the whole world. Possibly THE best.

That's not even the worst story I've heard.
Once this guy in Cali somewheres BURIED his rotties seven LIVE pups right in front of her. And left her chained close by where he buried them and it took her most of the day but she got herself free and dug them up...some neighbours FINALLY! saw her doing this and rescued the bunch. He was arrested for animal cruelty.
