Abuelita is good but Ybarra brand chocolate is way better.

I've seen this in the store and always thought of MK. Never tried it though.
Wow all your abuelitas sound mean. My grandma luuurrvved me. She was kind of hard on my brother (and apparently REALLY mean back in the old days) but she was the best. Old school and very Catholic. Whenever she wanted to spew her hate she'd say it in Spanish so we never had any idea how mean she actually was.

I just put about 1/4" of milk in the pot, add the disc and then wait for it to dissolve, once the chocolate's fully integrated I add the rest of the milk and wait for it to heat to my liking.

delicious..the powder version is even better than the disc version. not only it's easier to mix but tastes even better. the powder version is really hard to find though (only saw it in Florida)...for some reason, most stores in the US only carry the disc instead.

Ok, so my store sells this, and I've always wondered if it is any different than the powdered hot chocolate mixes? It sounds like it's a disc and not powder. So the disc doesn't dissolve? You have to crunch it up first? But what I want to know is does it taste better or the same as the powdered hot chocolate mixes?
