Yep, I remember her on What Not To Wear too!
She was adorable on the show. She acknowledged that she gained weight since her competitive days, and it sunk her self-esteem. But they made her look great. I still think she looks good---She's not that young anymore. Of course she's not going to look like she did when she was in her 20s, but she still looks attractive and she still dances really good!

Melanie was not always "big"! If you Google pictures of her back in her competitive days, which weren't all that long ago, she was actually quite thin and had a typical dancer's body. She's won many championship titles in ballroom, and you just can't do that with a body like she has now. Not sure what happened.
