Geisy Arruda Got Expelled From School For Wearing This
When most of us walk down the streets, we come across a handful of chicks wearing peek-a-coochie skirts and enough make-up to keep a needy drag queen set for life. It's not news. However, at Brazi's Bandeirante University (Uniban) it causes mass hysteria.
20-year-old Geisy Arruda, a tourism student at Uniban, showed up to class wearing a pink mini-dress and a lot of make-up on her face. At any elementary school in the US, they would've made fun of her for dressing like a prudish pilgrim. But at Uniban, a mob of students followed her everywhere she went and repeatedly called her a whore. Some of the dude students threatened to rape her and others tried to take pictures of her crotch with their phones. Shit got so real that the police were brought in to escort Geisy out of the school.
The school expelled Geisy after investigating the Oct. 22nd incident. Uniban explained their decision in an ad they took out in the paper titled, "Educational Responsibility - Education Is Made With Attitude Not Complacency." They blamed Geisy for not only dressing provocatively to class, but they also said that she regularly flirted with the boys and walked like she was working every shift on the ho stroll. Uniban's lawyers added that they gave her several warnings before expelling her.
Yes, Brazil is known for their ass thongs and titty pasties, but most students dress conservatively to class. Apparently.

Growing up I hung around with kids who went to a very tony, wealthy private high school and I went to public school. I was always shocked at the ugliness that they told about that went on. The extreme sexual behavior, drugs, crazy emotional disorders, and maliciousness. I was so innocent (and uninterested in that stuff) compared to them! But there is definitely a strange phenomenon, where I just think these (monied?) families must emotionally abandon their kids, and then physically abandon them sometimes at boarding schools because they just don't have the time or energy or desire to deal.

2. Even in Rio, we don't walk around nearly naked. Yes, our bikinis are smaller than yours, but we only use them on the beach area...it's not our everyday outfit. And yes, there is the Carnival parade where we can see a lot of naked women. But that's one week in February. (Btw, topless is not something we do here...)
3. Brasil has THE BIGGEST catolic population on Earth. Some cities are more conservative and people are more religious, some are less. Normally the biggest cities (like Rio), as it happens in America too, are less conservative.
4. I'm not, in any way, defending the animals who turned against the girl... if she was confortable wearing that to a school (i wouldn't be), who are they to judge?? Most people here agree that was an absurd...

here's the thing, this girl has always dressed like that to go to classes. she's not the only one, you see girls dressed like that on the streets, specially during the summer.
the problem is she may not be the most beautiful girl around, but she does look like the women men in brazil enjoy: thick thigs, big ass, small waist, and big boobs. so the other girls at the university weren't exactly their biggest fans.
that day she was dressed to go to a club with her boyfriend, she was going straight from university to the party.

and then the riot began. and the crowd went crazy, followed her to class and started to threaten her with rape.

from what i've heard from friends of her, she has never been warned to dress differently and there is no such thing as a DRESS CODE at this shitty excusive for a university. They expelled her because the case generated TONS of bad publicity. but it truly backfired because people want the ones who threatened her to be punished, not the clear victim of a medieval act.
there's even a protest going on RIGHT NOW in front of UNIBAN with men and women wearing the shortest skirts they could find.
