Some of you might have already seen this wreck since it's a few weeks old, but I thought you should get re-acquainted with it seeing as though the holiday shopping season is almost upon us. Why bother spending precious time circling the parking lot for an available space when all you have to do is shift your vehicle into 4-wheel drive and drive over any cars in your way. Put that shit in park and you're good to go! You might want to get yourself a little ladder so that you don't scrape your sexiness on the destroyed cars below you. You don't want to do that.
And just so you know, the driver of the BMW was caught just hours after this video went viral. 62-year-old Tripta Kaushal was charged with failing to remain at the scene of the accident. She's due in court on December 1st.

it's a boy cat and i've heard all types of theories (he doesn't have enough play/stimulation/toys/whatever) but homeboy has fake mice,fake birds, all kinds of balls (hee hee), toys hanging from every doorknob, plenty of food and water...maybe he is over stimmed ? EVERY time i am in the kitchen turning on the faucet he races in like a cartoon character, runs into the cabinets and then jumps on the counter...and his water is even one of those "pet fountains" so it has running water, and he is NOT a kitten...i hope he's just quirky *crossing fingers*

We thought of that... We're in this old Victorian neighborhood and our half-double shotgun does NOT have a parking space - most have them between houses. We did park the cars away from large trees. If it really kicks up in the next few hours we might drive them down to the church parking lot - I scoped it out yesterday - there seemed to be no trees that could fall and reach the parking lot, plus it's gated. Thanks for the reminder!

We could also use the radios in the car, right? Ah, and of course our gas tanks are NOT topped off. If we get another hurricane THIS season, I'll get all the aforementioned handled. Thanks, Peaches80. We're going to stay up late and wait for landfall - 1am our time. It's a Tropical Storm that's expected to be a Depression by the time it lands. Earlier today they were telling US to expect 75 mph winds. I was trying to think of a place to store/park the cars, but the news is saying 60 mph will be at the landfall point. We'll get wind, but likely/hopefully far less than 60.

but i agree it must be scary , frustrating and more to be in a natural disaster , we have earthquakes often in mexico city once in the eighties it was so bad many buildings collapsed and looked like the apocalypse i was maybe three , but i saw videos and i remember my mom and i running to the backyard waiting for our house to collapse , nothing happened thank god!

Gov. Jindal declared a state of emergency and told us all to not take this lightly, but of course, WE ARE. We figure he did it to be on the safe side and to not get the heat they did for waiting so long when Katrina came.
We're watching the Weather Channel and it looks like it's going to land in Grand Isle and Mississippi with the majority of the rain and wind hitting those areas and Florida. The main concern is rain leading to flooding. We saw a Norwegian cruise ship zoom up the Miss. last night - they were headed to Baton Rouge to get out of the way!
We have emergency food and water, but not much to last more than 3 days. I'm feeling like we'll be ok with this one. We have a lot friends in the da hood and we all help each other. My landlord's caretaker has two generators, so if we have food, we'll have a place to cook it and share.
And here I was looking forward to finding an oyster Po'Boy tomorrow!
