The 19th Duggar Came Early (Really Early)
Michelle Duggar gave birth to a teeny tiny baby girl last night after doctors performed an emergency c-section. No, the reason for the c-section was not because Michelle's vagina padlocked its doors and provided no forwarding address. Michelle had to have an emergency c-section, because her daughter is only 25 weeks old. Their new daughter weighed in at only 1lb., 6 oz.
The Duggars have of course, kept with the "J" theme by naming baby #19 Josie Brooklyn Duggar. The Duggars name-dropped the borough I currently terrorize so I'll raise my mug of Sanka (the machine is broken again) to them.
A rep from TLC tells TMZ that Josie Brooklyn is in stable condition in the neonatal intensive-care unit at the University of Arkansas' medical center.
The rep added: "Michelle, who has been in the hospital recovering from a gallstone, was taken to the OR for an emergency c-section. The most important thing right now is for Mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery."
Hopefully, Josie Brooklyn will go home to the other members of the Duggar child army very soon. And also, let's hope someone gives Jim Bob a fleshlight for Christmas this year.

I wonder which of Michelle's slave teens gets to raise this one? mI feel so sorry for these kids, never knowing what it is like to have mom and dad's full attention, being raised by a brother or sister. You can't have any more attention thana kid in a classroom, because your parents are too busy. and how in the word will those parents ever get to know each child and sense when somethign is wrong, give a little more attention and help to that kid.

They don't go to college, and there are plenty of Christian colleges that they could go to. I live in Jerry Falwell country. But honestly, Liberty University is known for have several Miss Virginia's and Miss VA contestants over the year, but the Duggars wouldn't even approve of a school that allowed that.

The oldest boy is married, the twins John David and Jana should be about 20 years old, and the next girls are 18, 17, 16, and they do all the baby care cooking laundry etc. The boys do yard work and fool around with tools.
Josh is creepy, his laugh is like a girl and his hands are all girly.

I went into labor with my twins at 26 weeks and the doctor told me if they delivered they would not make it (this was 15 yrs ago) I kept them in til 31 weeks and they are ok. If this baby lives, God willing, she will have a large chance of having mental retardation/brain damage from bleeding in the brain.
What bugs me is that they parents pop out kids and the older girls do all of the work. NO ONE is encouraged to go to college. On one episode the producer said that the Duggars were "TV Savvy". They don't allow anyone to watch TV but they are making a fortune ON tv. Does That bother anyone else?
Now they have forced this woman through 17 pregnancies including two sets of twins and a miscarriage. They wanted to have as many as God would allow? Well I think he is saying "You are Done" and "by the way now you have a handicapped child to care for in your old age". They thing is they wont care for it, the other kids will. And then they will go and talk about how wonderful it is to have a handicapped child.
I have one and it is not wonderful. I have been sad for 15 years wishing he was OK.

That is straight out of the garbage known as "Growing Kids God's Way" or "Babywise" (for the secular crowd) by Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo. I have never heard of the Duggars espousing the Ezzo teachings, and their younger kids certainly do not act like it. Honestly the Duggar parents seem gentler than that, although I suppose corporal punishment is a possibility in the household. I don't know.

You people who support the Duggars need to stop. OK so they don't take money from the state to raise their army but they also DO NOT pay any taxes. So they aren't helping the economy either.

I wonder if they would even stop if the baby died. If you've seen their show, they talk about the miscarriage that happened while Michelle was on the Pill. They're really emotional about it because they think that their choice to take the BC pill killed their baby (their opinion, not mine). That's why they decided to forego any birth control method and leave the amount of children they would have up to God.
Wonder if they would just think God wanted this baby in Heaven with him? Sick, but plausible to them.

I don't see what the difference is: Both groups of kids will go out in to the world with a very skewed sense of what "normal" families, relationships,and gender roles are. They will most likely perpetuate them, leading to another generation being raised the exact same way, and will have a much narrower set of experiences or opportunities in the world.
I'm also at a loss where fucking the government out of tax money by pretending to be a religious institution is different from what you perceive to be welfare abuse, where the government gets fucked out of money.
