However, I've only been commenting for four months, and I think it takes awhile to get in...there is a hazing involved, and sometimes I am just not "on my game" ie, not clever enough to deal with that.

I've actually been on Dlisted for three years, but under a different name, so that doesn't count.

At night, yes, depending on my mood, as I was joking with Lil Rascal earlier, sometimes I feel like I can be kinda funny and contribute, but sometimes I feel, I got nuthin!

I totally know what you mean about the culture shock of moving to a totally different place. The Northeast (for us) is home, and there is a big difference between traveling and meeting new people and living with them.

I am originally from NJ where I have by far found the sexiest men. They have that edge, that attitude, that swagger. But considering my track record maybe its time to shake it up and try something new.

I was at the liquor store on Sunday buying beer for football with my friends and I got rang up but a semi cute, very nice, but very soft spoken and polite. I tend to associate that with wussy. Gettin out of the dirty jerz I need to learn that not the only men in the world are UFC obsessed, yelling, drunk, angry, assholes!

Seriously, I've told that story for years, but I've always been confused about why did it happen? I mean, I certainly didn't have any secret attraction to the decrepit dentist!

I supppose that any drugs that go into the mind are mind-altering, they just alter some people differently than others.

And I do see a shrink, so I guess I was ripe for the pickin'!

i just moved to mountain time so i think im a little behind everyone else. since i moved to colorado ive been just babysitting my nephew everyday for extra cash. but i guess i could have a bottle in one hand and dlisted in the other! i will def check in tomorrow during the day

Not too much at the moment. I'm kind of evaluating things....I'm a NY'er, but have lived many years in New England, and miss that area very much.

However, I do hate the winters, etc.

Austin is very cool, there are many things I love about it. However, there are many things I love about New England, too!

Honestly, I really need to win Lotto so I can afford a place up there and a place in Austin!

I'm pretty well traveled, so I think I can say with some authority that those are both good places for me....

The main thing is I am not attracted to guys from Austin at all. Texas, really. Or anywhere else but the Northeast! And I've been out of the US to some extent! How pathetic is that.

But honestly, I have a real thing for Brooks Brothers preppies from the Northeast. I am never attracted to anyone else. I have asked my shrink about this, but he just laughs! What can you do?

Please tell me about your existence in Colorado. That is one state I have not visited as of yet, and it is one my list.

omg so funny you mention that!!!! anesthesia does crazy things. I had my wisdom teeth out when I was about 16, tongue piercing was all the rage and my mother wouldnt sign the consent form for me to get one (looking back now, thank god!) so anyways i wake up from wisdom teeth removal and the oral surgeon is like you were quite the comedien while you were under, im like ok...
he said as soon as i started going under i pulled "while youre in my mouth can you give me a sexy tongue piercing like you have??"
needless to say my 50 year old oral surgeon did not have a tongue piercing. it has a semi hallucingen effect but also seems to bring up what was on your mind anyway (because at that time all i wanted was a tongue ring. so very odd!)

I know you enjoy my pathetic sex stories, so I will tell you...I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at once, too.

I have a really low threshold for pain, and I knew if it hurt too much I wouldn't go back, so I signed on for the full Monty.

Anyway, this was 20 years ago, so they gave me a Valium drip.

I wake up and the dental surgeon and assistants are looking at me like I was Cujo and I was like, "What."

The dentist left the room, and the assistants gently informed me that I had attempted to grab the dentist's dick and was begging him to do me!

Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He had removed two teeth, he came back in the room and I begged him to continue, I swore I wouldn't be "inappropriate" any more, and the pain, I wouldn't have the nerve to come back, etc.

He grudgingly agreed, and the assistants said I didn't do anything during the second round....he was about 65 and hideous, btw!

Austin, Tx, nice! That was actually on my top 3 list of places to move. I basically hit some sort of quarter life crisis when I turned 25, I re-evaluated the 10 year long off-and-on relationship I had with the same guy, and other things going on in my life and I figured I was ready to pack up and start fresh!!!
It was between Texas, Arizona, and Colorado. After much thought I realized I am, by nature a homebody, so if I was gonna make this big change it better to be to a place where I at least know people. So thats how I landed in Colorado. So far I love it!

All I could focus on was what I thought was a giant, flabby ass!

Not being a micro person has not served me well in life in a variety of different ways, most of which are somewhat amusing!

Well that is definitely good! As far as schooling, Ive only been in the state for 2 weeks and a Masters degree is ex-pen-sivo so Im waiting til my in-state benefits kick in and I can go for a little cheaper. But it is definitely on the horizon.

i was in a realationship off and on for 10 years and the guy was just a total dick, mean, angry at life, always bringing me down. not realy sure why i stayed with him so long but thats another story. anyhow a couple months ago i needed a change and i completely uprooted my life and moved across country. he gave me shit every day, i was selfish, a bitch, i ruined everything, he was gonna kill himself blah blah blah. he had me feeling so guilty i was ready to move back. until i was just informed today he has been cheating on me for a YEAR! how selfish do you have to be to try and stop me from moving on with my life when you moved on a year ago?? what, did you want me to stay there and you could have 2 girlfriends for the rest of your life?? im so sick with this right now!
