Something Old And Something New
It seems like it was just yesterday when we Lourdes playing with her mom's make-up in the pages of Vanity Fair. And now here she is, all grown up and wearing one of her mom's old outfits. Actually, I think Vadge is wearing one of her old outfits too. It was nice of Vadge to mix the old with the new. And when I say "new," I'm referring to her face.
Vadge's face is seriously tighter than Tommy Girl's asshole in a room full of vaginas. Like a candle face.
Why does she hate her pores so much? If her face gets any tighter, she's not going to be able to blink anymore and she'll have to hire a full-time bitch to constantly keep her eyeballs wet with Visine drops. Hmm. I guess that's what Baby Jesus is for.

Lourdes has a more mature look in her eyes than Vadge.
Vadge has worn that dress before. It actually looks like a slip I have from Frederick's of Hollywood. I guess Vadge loosened her grip on Lola. She use to be really strict with her about tons of stuff.
A few questions, what's with the cross if Vadge is a Jew now. Shouldn't she be celebrating Hannaka? Lola is 13 (10/14/1996), so why is she dressed like a tramp? Did Lola get her unibrow tweezed? I can't tell from the hair covering her face.

Lourdes usually looks beautiful, but honestly I don't think she looks that good here. I'm not feeling the bangs either--they just unnecessarily cover up what is an otherwise pretty face, and it's unfortunate that she had to straighten out the the lovely natural texture of her hair.
I'm going to assume it's not the case for now, but it's possible she may actually be growing 'out' of being beautiful, rather than into. Also, she's only 12?? In that case, it could go anywhere. But it's not like it matters, because she'll have enough money so that she can look great no matter what she naturally looks like.
Isn't this the same outfit Vadge wore to the Golden Globes/ Oscars for Evita? I think that was right soon after she gave birth to Lola.
Vadge needs to hand over Kim Catrall's face back to her plastic surgeon, STAT.

As crazy and self-absorbed as Vadge is, I always get the sense from the photos that she and Lourdes have a genuinely affectionate relationship. Not sure how old Vadge got it together to be a decent mother - particularly now with the threat of Lourdes as a younger more attractive woman.
Unfortunately Lourdes inherited the curse Billy Joel's daughter now has to deal with as she became a woman of a more gorgeous Mom but the reasons she is wearing metal braces is because Dentist wont put Invisalign on underage children since they have to remove them every time they eat, they'd just end up losing them or not putting them back on like an adult would do since they cost 1000 more, teenagers cant appreciate the cost like adults would, like i did when i wore Invisalign so its not worth it having them wear those type braces and anyway, she can change the color of hers when she feels like them to match what she wears:) She isnt going to be a striking beauty like Madonna hoped she'd be by having a child with a Latino! It looks like Madge and Lourdes really enjoy each other's company now. It didn't always appear that way to me before. She always appeared kind of tyranical to me. Like those kids better tow the line. But lately, since Madge has been divorced, it looks like she's more at ease with herself and her kids. Maybe being Mrs. Richie really stressed her out. She just looks a hundred times happier, especially when you see her with Lourdes. Some people have a hard time relating to their kids until the kid reaches a certain age. In the sense that you can better enjoy their company and not be the "boss" all the time. Seeing them as someone you can respect as well. Oh, hell, maybe she appears happier these days because she's getting that young dick!!

I was a huge Madonna fan back in the 80s and agree Bedime Stories was a great album but I think she should stop touring now. It looks desperate when you see her on stage.
As for the surgery, it's too much for me. The cheek bone line that touches her mouth looks creepy. She should have stuck with subtle botox and married to Guy. She looked good when they just got together, befor the crazy yoga and plastic addiction set in. Shame....

I recall reading an interview with her years and years back - I think during her True Blue phase when she was beautifully voluptuous - where she was asked if she would ever consider plastic surgery. Her answer was something like she hoped she wouldn't have to, but that she'd cross the bridge when the time came.

You're probably right. For a New York minute I was hoping she'd buck the tide - being a relative maverick at the time - of women getting facelifts and such, but we shouldn't be too surprised she did. All pop stars must necessarily be vain, and she was a product of MTV, which did kill the radio star.
I wish people aged gracefully and naturally but I still think aging sucks balls. I know it's a natural process but I was watching Live Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas? video the other day and was saddened to see how fresh and dewy everyone looked back in the day. Now Boy George has degenerated into an obese felon, George Michael is a mess, even Simon LeBon looks bloated and fug. Everyone just looks older and tired.
