I adore Leo and wish he were straight and dated normal girls....however, I was listening to Howard Stern MANY years ago. Maybe around Titanic as the buzz was huge. Some random woman phoned in and started saying she saw him at Disneyworld the week before and said he was with a bunch of gay men. Howard quickly and nervously cut her off and made some comment about how that was just her opinion, etc. From then on, I had my doubts. I still think he is beautiful and he is a damn good actor. In the end, I recall the boys in high school that signed up for drama classes, they were all gay. What makes it so hard for American women to understand that top actors are more often than not, homosexual?

Leo isn't gay. What guy doesn't want to date models? Since when did that make you gay? I get the slightly effeminate thing but that's not being gay, that's just a mannerism. I dated a guy in hs that was a bit effeminate but he was definitely not gay (though one or two people wondered because they associate effeminate with gay). I know because I was also a very close friend with him for 7 years before we dated, there's nothing he wouldn't tell me for fear of me not accepting him. Really, effeminate and gay are two different things. My other friend, who I knew for the same amount of time through middle school and hs, turned out to be gay. He told me and gradually others throughout hs. I guess you could say he had a few non-masculine mannerisms but they were vastly different than those of my straight friend.

Well, maybe he is gay but why does only dating models mean anything? That's the average Joe's dream -- to be wealthy enough to have supermodels on his arm. And who doesn't love a foreign accent? It's exotic.

The only thing that would make sense if they were beards to me would be if both parties were gay.

Leo has always been really private, more private than most celebrities. He has also been good friends with Sara Gilbert for a long time and she is a lesbian. I know he can have gay friends without being gay but maybe they had that in common and that's why they were so close. And I have always thought there was something weird about him only dating foreign models. Most men like pretty women but the women Leo has been with don't even speak English very well. It would actually make a lot of sense if these models were his beards.

I have seen a TV show where they were tagging Canadian Geese and if you twist there neck a certain way, they become completely helpless, they also test with cotton swabs if the goose is male or female. So that goose around Leo neck is either a stuffed prop or hypnotized by a special method.

If we're talking Italy, I guess Clooney is a good guess? And although the women he dates can be good looking, I wouldn't peg any one of them as "the most beautiful girls in the world." At best, he dates C/D-list actresses (Krista Allen I suppose would be the prettiest). I think he's bi, leaning towards the gay side, but sleeps with a lot of women bc he just doesn't care. In fact, I believe that's the way it is for a lot of Hollywood celebs. It's more about the sex (verb) than the gender. And there's just a buffet of people. But if you asked GC if he could only choose one kind of snack... I don't think it would be female.

So I'll say Leo's bi also, maybe just bi-curious, but a touch more straight than not. The model thing is eye-roll worthy and certainly suspicious but as he has had such long relationships with some (Gisele) and she really seemed to be in love with him, I'll buy that the relationship was probably authentic. I don't think she'd really beard for anyone. And, if she entered into the relationship a little naively, I don't think she'd stick around for so long. Not Gisele. Nicole Kidman, yes. Vivian Vance, sure. (Though I'm inclined to believe VV's marriage was an honest relationship and based more on friendship/companionship than bearding for someone or vice versa). But I don't think Gisele and I don't think she came out of the relationship really gaining much professionally. And I'll throw in my opinion on Toby Maguire for the hell of it. I think he's more gay than Leo. Sometimes those heavily closeted guys (family men) just like to hang around goodlooking men, even if they can't touch. I am quite tall and DiCaprio was at least 6ft2. Unless he shrinked since I last seen him which was when he did Blood Diamond and was at the premiere. He is a tall guy. I don't believe he is gay, why would Gisele and Bar etc need to beard it up?

I just remembered that when Leo was in Montreal filming, he frequented a gay club. Not sure if this means anything though, as I sometimes I go to them too just to avoid drunk men hitting on me all night long. Maybe he wanted to avoid nut female fans, but just saying.
