The sad thing is, I'm totally going to go see KY Jelly Sex in the City, but only because it's really entertaining to watch all the bitches in the audience stroll into the theater dressed up like "Carrie, Samantha, etc..." and ripping their panties off when the theme song starts. It's like Twilight for the Anistons of the world.
Seriously, the theaters should take advantage of that shit and set up folding chairs at the front of the theater facing the audience. I thought that was the entire point of it. Getting into credit card debt to buy useless shit is, like, "empowering" . . . yes, truly, a message for 2010 and a reason for every fashion victim to rise from the grave and totter squealing to the theater.

What the hell? I didn't know they had even STARTED filming this yet - let alone FINISH filming it... I was under the impression that it was just a rumor that there would be a sequel & they were working on writing a script... Where have I been?
That said.
I loved the show & HATED the first movie. Like really, really despised it & thought it was awful. I have to say, though, despite what others are saying here, I think this movie looks more "fun"/true to the series than the first movie. I'm not sure if I'll see it, but it at least looks less depressing/stupid than its predecessor! It's probably all fluff with a lame storyline, but I can appreciate that more than the first terrible piece of trash.
They might as well just make one of these every 2 years. The last movie did suck (it seemed like every 5 minutes it was a new day), but the studios can make a lot of money off of these because you know despite the crap that was Sex and the City: The Movie, people will see this.
Face it they should have never cancelled the show. And why did they do it, none of these people are working outside "S&tC" (like they thought they would)? But this will probably be the last because SJP fancies herself a "movie star".
I love the series, but the last movie was crap and THIS looks ahellofalot worse. What, they go out of the country together and Carrie kisses Big so let's make another movie?
