Danny Gokey Got A Tattoo
Danny Gokey, the Lens Crafters fetishist from American Idol, recently Tweeted this picture of a MAAAAASSSIVE tattoo he got in memory of his wife who passed away last year.
If the Evil Queen from Snow White and Vera Wang's Glam Princess perfume bottle got tangled up in an Ed Hardy sweatshirt, it would look something like that. But it's the sentiment (and Tweet) that counts...right?

THIS tattoo?? Unnecessary. Like a previous poster said, quiet initials on your wrist would have been a tasteful way to do it. This is just bad.
Honestly, the way tattoo artists feel they have the right to tell you what you should and should not get, what is "tacky" and "tired" and "played out", I am surprised that they let him even do this. They HATE doing names. You can see them roll their eyes whenever anyone comes in wanting a name.

I think the tattoo artists do amazing work, but I just hate tattoos. I do feel like it cheapens a person's look. I mean, Angelina in a gown? It looks ridiculous. And they don't look all that great on aging skin.

not all tattoos are nasty some very rare are tastefully done but if we remember tattoos origins we might remember why they almost always make you look cheap no matter how pretty and well dress you are

Besides the fact that the crown looks like the Brunswick bowling logo AND he has forever jeopardized future relationships except with low self esteem, god-fearing wallflowers, the execution is light years ahead of most tats I've seen (that is, if we ignore the odd highlighting which makes it look like angels' smiles are casting light and shadow from multiple directions).
Now, are we sure he isn't just a Golden Girls fan? It hasn't been that long since Estelle Getty kicked.
