Lafayette Is Finally Getting A Piece
True Blood SPOILER ALERT! So if you don't want to know anything else, rip your eyeballs out and meet us in the front. The Hollywood Reporter (via People) says that Lafayette will finally get a little honey in his pot next season.
The producers of True Blood held a seance and resurrected Ugly Betty's Santos from the dead and cast him as Jesus (that's pronounced Heeeeeeey-sus if you take cream in your coffee). Kevin Alejandro will play Jesus, a hospital orderly who is caring for Lafayette's sick mother (played by Alfre Woodard). Jesus will be in almost every single episode in the upcoming third season.
Part of me (my no-no) was hoping that Eric and Lafayette would swirl it up in the third season, but I'll take this for now. And I'm still praying that my favorite True Blood character, the alley slut known as Randi Sue, somehow fucks her way into season 3.

Lafayette and Tara are why I kept watching. Eric is icing on the cake.
The next season is going to be all about Suckhead moping over Vampiiiiiuh Biyull, though. Every time she comes on screen I cringe.

Never fear, Mikey - I think Eric is going to be mixing it up with Godric in some flashbacks. Sweet. It will offset the prospect of seeing him get naked with a bunch of airhead female ho-bags (I think they're turning Eric into S1 Jason this year). Of course, all the fangirls are screaming for him to get with Suckeh, but that really won't happen until S4, I think.

Lafayette is the shit...I absolutely and positively adore TB, but please tell me they didn't canel Hung...my night was made with a dose to TB followed by the hilarious Hung...now I am forced to watch Californication (which I love now) and Crash...which is extremely good too...at times...a little unbelievable, but then so is TB. I need my HBO shows back like yesterday...no weekend is complete without it!

True Blood is the best show ever!! And Lafayette adds so much extra spice to the show! I hope none of the main characters ever get killed off, because they are all so incredible!
Lafayette is awesome...I'm glad they decided not to kill him off.
I like Tara, but she has one of the most cringe inducing southern accents I've ever heard...and I'm from the South! Every time she opens her mouth I want to cover my ears. But, she's pretty to look at.
I wish they would stick a little closer to the books instead of loosely basing the series on them, but...c'est la vie...I enjoy them both.
Lafayette is the best thing about this show, aside from Eric. he's one of the best actors on tv, cable or network.
