took me a minute to realize those are real baby possums...wow! I worked at a veterinary hospital were we took in almost every abandoned, strange creature including entire possum families. We even had a blind, paralyzed possum named Winston..he was sooo cute. One day, I put my purse in the back office, and felt something run over my foot, apparently the baby possums were left in the front office, and it was such a mess, nobody could find them. They just ran around in that office, they may be there to this day. The owner left it like a pig sty...but we must have had at least 15 possums...the babies are cute especially when they think they are being vicious, and have no teeth...as far as blind items who the hell knows I've been stuck on possum mode...now I am on Shiba Inu mode.

I love opossums! Lots of them come around my house but I can't convince any of them to become my pets (they are supposed to make great pets). Last spring I had baby opossums running all over the place and when I'd try and pick them up, all they would do is hiss at me. And for some reason the old ones come to my house to die. A few days ago I found another huge dead opossum under some tree branches that were on the ground.

That possum photo with the bars over their little eyes is TOO CUTE! Once I was eating a sandwich somewhere in the northeastern Australian woods and something grabbed my sandwich out of my hands fast as lightning, and I turned around and it was a possum just like the photo with the babies on her back. That bitch stole my lunch!
