Simon Monjack Is Blaming Warner Bros. For Brittany Murphy's Death
Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack gave a long interview to The Daily Beast where he said he is days away from filing a lawsuit against Warner Bros. for contributing to his wife's death. Simon says that Brittany suffered massive amounts of stress after the frog fired her from the sequel to Happy Feet. Simon believes that all the stress led to her having a heart attack. Simon wants to see the frog (sans top hat) in court.
The L.A. County Coroner still hasn't released a cause of death, but that's not stopping Simon. Simon thinks that Warner Bros. only fired Brittany after they read unconfirmed rumors about her behavior on a movie in Puerto Rico, “Warner Brothers relied on conjecture and hearsay about the Puerto Rico film for why they canceled Brittany’s role in Happy Feet. You’re disposable as an actress or actor.”
In past interviews, Simon swore that Brittany never abused illegal or prescription drugs. Simon said that most of the medications found in the house at the time of her death belonged to him.
Simon also denies that he's a gold digging bear who has a history of being a con man. Er. Somebody needs to tell Simon that this lawsuit against Warner Bros. really isn't helping his cause.

Accoring to the mom she had an active heart murmor and everyone knows he always had diabetes, like Casey Johnson, but her diabetes was controlled according to the family. She was feeling sick for the last 5 days and thought she had the flu....she was fatigued and short of breath.... the day before her death she thought she had laryngitis cause she could barely speak. According to the mom and the goldigger, the morning of she was also throwing up and complaining she felt weak. She went to the bathroom and died.

When I read the report on how she died it was all plain as day to me...
As much as I like to say that H1N1 flu madness was contrived by the pharmaceuticals to make money, there's also the other side of the coin where I like to say: YES! Be CAREFUL if you get sick with the flu. Flus DO kill. They don't kill us SO much anymore becuz we have clean water and good food and shelter here....but if ANY of your organs are weakened for any reason (especially your heart or lungs) and you get the flu - GET YOUR ASS TO A DOCTOR. Especially if you can "afford" one (we don't pay here so that's weird for me).
It's so obvious...a little boy died just like that - in the bathroom when his family thought he was ok - recently, of the flu - he had asthma. I blame her husband for negligence. Either they were hiding drug issues or he was too high to realize but if she was sick she needed to see a doctor. I think he knows it - that's what is with all this post-mortem flailing fersure.
That's all I'm sayin'.

Here are my thoughts on BM's death. When it is said that a person has died of natural causes, I believe it only means that there is no suspected foul play...either accidentally or purposefully...and no suicide. OD's do fall under the category of "natural causes". Ultimately, an OD is going to cause respiratory arrest and as a result, cardiac arrest. So, when they say "natural causes" or myocardial infarction, which is another way of saying heart attack, they don't mean to suggest that it is fine and normal for that person to have died they just mean that it was a result of something that isn't criminal or suicidal. I suppose the "fine and normal" would be implied for an older person with real heart disease and cardiac deterioration but in BM's case, the "natural causes" thing is almost always pending further tests. I believe they were doing a tox screen and brain tissue pathology which I believe is to see how long drug abuse was going on, if that is the case. I think I read that she didn't have a heart murmur so much as she had a mitral valve prolapse which does differ from a murmur. Maybe that was Casey Johnson who had the mvp...I can't remember. The two conditions do tend to get used interchangeably by people who aren't medically educated, which seems to be most of the media. I know a few younger people with the mvp issue and that is the one that causes people to have to take anti-biotics before dental work in order to avoid a bad systemic infection. That is a rare complication that tends to get overplayed and get people more worried than needed...perhaps because of malpractice fear or perhaps because of anti-biotic happiness we seem to have here in the US. If a person doesn't have gum disease or an infection in the mouth then it's really kind of unnecessary. That last part is my opinion, not fact but anyway...I don't think the heart issue, whichever kind it was, played into her death. That's my hunch.
The diabetes issue seems to get too much attention in regards to BM as well. She had diabetes II which is different than the kind Casey supposedly had which is juvenile diabetes or diabetes I. BM's likely didn't require insulin. It usually doesn't until it is quite advanced and if hers was advanced, she would have many other problems such as impaired eyesight and possibly kidney disease/failure. She just didn't seem like that was the case and you don't go from having a milder case of Diabetes II to dead. There are steps in between. Diabetes II is the one that people usually get with obesity and age, when the body isn't efficient at using the insulin that the pancreas does still produce, in some quantity. It can be referred to as insulin resistance in some cases. Many times, losing weight is enough to cause the patient to not have to take any meds and live a normal life. Casey's diabetes was the kind that exists because her pancreas doesn't produce insulin and that is a condition that exists from childhood. It isn't far fetched that Casey's death was diabetes related but I think the reality is that she was too wasted for a period of time to be able to give herself her insulin shots or perform the necessary care of her insulin pump if that is what she had. She too didn't seem like a diabetic with serious complications either.
When addicts die the sad death of an addict, loved ones (especially those that may have enabled or been co-using/co-dependent) will try hard to blame the death on anything else that they can grab onto. They would cast a side eye at a hangnail if that is all that is available. Denial is a powerful tool in grieving and also, as I suspect is the case with Monjack, a powerful tool for self defense and self preservation. I suspect he is a substance abuser as well and in addition to trying to protect BM's substance abuse, he's protecting his own. Maybe BM's mom was too for all we know. Birds of a feather tend to flock together and they wouldn't be the first co-habitating, co-using family in Hollywood to exist. At the least, the mom likely knew all about it and did nothing because she either depended on BM's money and therefore didn't rock her boat or because BM would allow her to do nothing to help. It's very complicated, this co-dependency and enabling thing. I've seen it in action in my own family.
I know, such a long-winded post but that's my two cents on the matter.

I dunno whether the murmor killed her. I know about having one cause my sister had one (and my dog presently but Idigress -- my sis's fixed itself -- the human body is amazing). In humans it does show up as shortness of breath and weakness etc.... hm usually does not kill anyone--unless there is another underlyng reason but she had diabetes. Maybe she was not taking care of herself or doing drugs.

i currently take topamax as did bm. (haha) it cause major weight loss and dehydration on a daily basis. i got a stomach virus and ended up on heart monitors due to a high heart rate and low bp. could have been a heart attack if i had stayed home because i was famous and didnt want to go to the hospital!
