Hot Slut Of The Day!
Roberta Flack - Just when I was starting to think that last night's 16-hour long Grammy Awards was not going to deliver an ounce of potent glamour, Roberta Flack floated onto the stage looking like a delicious milk chocolate version of Endora from Bewitched. I wanted her to serenade me while sitting on an airplane wing. Roberta's hair did remind me of my grandmother's mangy Cocker Spaniel who could make hairbrushes break in two just by look at them. But that's part of Roberta's glamour and I'm buying it. Killing me softly for real.

and as to her look....well, someone older trying on something younger SOMETIMES works. that hair on her made her not look hip, it made her look like baby jane hudson's twin.

I feel the same way. And while there is a place for vibrato, over use of it just makes me think the singer can't really sing.
That aside, I've always liked her voice.
Always loved her voice, but I didn't recognize her at all. I had to google to remember what race she was, not that it matters.

I can't help it - I just really hate this music. Like, I don't feel we should sit and listen to this music altho I have to admit - if it was everywhere just barely audible all the time: that wouldn't make me unhappy in the least...I just don't like it up in my face.
That boring ass Maxwell dude has a lot to learn from Roberta. Becuz except for that one ouchie note, she's the hotness - I even want to listen when she sings...not for long, but at least a little. As soon as Maxwell starts singing I have the impulse to turn it off again. That's why I'm still typing - so I make it to the AH! FINALLY. They let him sing WAY too much. And I hate that song I already forgot the name of again too.

Roberta looked so old to me and her voice was shaky as hell. Could be she's so used to singing while sitting at a piano or maybe just a little nervous at performing. I haven't seen or heard her performing anywhere recently. She still gets my love though.
And as much as I love Maxwell, I wished he could've done something other than "Pretty Wings." Gawd I'm tired of that song, it's not his best work.
I am absolutely certain that the instructions on all wig boxes encourage you to give them a vigorous shake before pinning them onto your head.
She may have looked like a chocolate milk version of Endora, but she sang like she was grabbing her ankles and taking it in the ass with a baseball bat. Horrible!
