Jersey Boy from Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl VI! - Jake, the chihuahua/pug mix who might have dropped acid before the big game and scored a point for the other team, was named Most Valuable Puppy last night, but the true breakout star in my eyes was the JERSEY BOY! Jersey might look he belongs in a Louis Vuitton mobile home carried by Jessica Simpson (RIP Daisy), but he ain't afraid to get his paws dirty and break a bitch down!
During last night's game, Jersey Boy along with Rigley got the first puppy penalty of the night for unnecessary ruffness. Jersey Boy showed us how they do it in Jersey! Paws pumpin' like champs

Jersey Boy is a purebred Havanese. He looks and sits just like my pup did when he was a puppy. Mine still sits like that and he also has this look and many others that continue to slay me on a daily basis. I love my Havanese!

Okay, Rigley was obviously the aggressor, here. Yes, Jake stole the show with his googly eyes and hyperactivity, but I haven't seen any love for my boy Bandit. He was the cutest!

I don't get how this puppy is half chihuahua/half pug. He has a ton of hair! He is definitely a really cute puppy though, but he looks like a terrier mix of sorts. I love the Puppy Bowl, was checking out last nite, so many cute puppies!

I had a beagle-cockapoo when I was a kid. The litter it was from, they all had short hair except the runt which had curly hair.

OMG I turned this on to mess with my husband, i told him i wanted to watch the puppy bowl instead of the super bowl(he almost divorced me on the spot) when I went to turn it back to the 99 hours of pregame my kids threw a huge fit, this puppy bowl is like crack for kids, they were sitting in front of the tv like total zombies, we had to watch the ENTIRE 1st half and the kitten halftime show and the little gerbil things flying the blimp, it was almost enough to make my cold heart warm up, but then we turned on the game and I saw Peyton Manning's goofy face and I wanted to punch a puppy

My beloved dog Rory Calhoun whom MK said was the cutest dog he'd ever seen... just won the local Mutt Show in my town on Saturday! He's 2010 Mutt of the Year!! I am such a proud mama! :) This is equivalent of Little Miss Perfect for my doggie!

Funny you mention it, but I have been wanting a Havanese for months, now. I thought Jersey Boy looked like a Havanese but he also has a Maltese look to him, too. I can not find a Havanese breeder here in Florida so my dreams of one are on hold for now...
I loved watching Puppy Bowl! The hamsters were so cute. The kitty show was a little bland. They weren't playing and frolicking.

Jazzman... not bad... Spent it with my daughter. Her grades are a little shotty so I took her to a local pool hall and taught her how to shoot pool... just in case the whole college thing doesn't work out... hahahaha

It was on before the superbowl for 2 hours and very surreal. My dad kept wandering in from the kitchen, asking 'so WHAT is this?!?!' He was confused.
This was sooooo much better than the always over hyped snooze fest that is the Superbowl. Three hours to play a 1 hour game?? Those guys wouldn't last ten minutes in a rugby match.
