Actually, bleaching STRENGTHENS your teeth. I went to dental school & before I got knocked up & had to drop out(complications), I learned that bleaching does something to your enamel that actually makes it stronger. I bleached my teeth about 8 years ago & haven't had a cavity since.
That said, she needs to get to a dentist fast. Her teeth look gross.

Lady GaGa is starting to grow on me (no, not like that). I still think her music is crap but I'm kinda liking what she is doing with costumes. I know it's been done before (Elton, Cher, etc.) but no one is doing quite what she is doing right now. At first I didn't really pay much attention to her but now I find I like seeing what she's come up with next.
Of course, tons of people commented on her teeth. People are clamoring after white teeth and it's becoming rather lemming-like. There is such a thing as tooth paint and I'm thinking she should have gone for a purple/pink shade to match her lipstick.

Lady CaCa's outfit makes her teeth look yellow. I think she put this ensemble together so she wouldn't pull a Kate Moss and be photographed with coke smudges on her jeans. The scattered coke blends right in! She should have worn her eye-hiding sunglasses though. It's easy to see her big ole dilated pupils. The FNL news makes me sad, but I suppose I can take solace in the fact that we all thought it was going to be over after the 2nd season, and we got 3 more. I really think it will eventually be determined that bleaching has a deleterious effect on your teeth.
My feeling about uber-white teeth is this: If you can buy a pack of generic whitening strips for about ten bucks, nearly everyone has access to white teeth. If it's available to everyone, what's the appeal?
