OMG Peaches and Cream Barbie was one of my favorites!! I loved the Barbie's with the wrap around dresses you could design 10 different ways. I wish I could remember the one that came in a blue dress, perhaps an Oscar de la Renta that was once on Dynasty. I loved that Barbie.

Happy B-Day, a day late (sorry, I was wooping it up all day yesterday and not on Dlisted) to my birthday mates! March 9 is a glorious day indeed and Pisces rule!! I knew that Webster shares my day of birth and like myself, I see that he is 39 again, but I didn't know about Barbie. I loved Barbie as a kid and had I known about our shared personal day of self-worship, I would have held some fabulous bashes in my playroom, in our honor. "Us" being Sunset Malibu Barbie, myself, bi-curious man-whore Ken, Barbie's butch buddy Stacey (Stacey suffered a terrible post-bathtub haircut and ended up looking like Shiloh after rubbing her head with a balloon), the always drugged out looking "Live Action" PJ, the prim & prissy Kelly (always a party-pooper) and little sister Malibu Skipper. There were others too but cannot remember all the names and types. We could have all taken turns marrying Ken and his plastic crotch bulge. Sounds like I should also invite Jen Aniston. Of course we would all end up naked, in a tangled heap of plastic, fried-looking hair and limbs pointing in unnatural directions, lying unresponsive on the playroom floor, totally spent and feeling used and cheap. Nothing much has actually changed in my life since then. ;-)

Peaches and Cream Barbie! I couldn't wait to get that shit when I was a kid. I thought she was beyond glamorous. Guess I watched too much Dynasty as a child, which is kind of sad in its own way.
When I lived in Atlanta back in the day, I pulled in a parking space at Eats. Just then a big blue Mercedes pulled in next to us. I said, "Good grief, what's a little kid doing driving that big expensive car? Do you think it's his parents'?" My friend said, "Hell no, that's not a little kid, that's EMANUEL LEWIS!"
