I don't hate her for helping, I hate her for selling it to the world media. Look at a Paul Newman, he did loads of stuff, did you ever see him surrounded by paps whilst he did some of his good work? No.

Yes she is doing all this but it is her motivation which I question. Since the break up rumours around Christmas there have been daily updates on her filming in Venice (where is J. Depp? he seems to be able to avoid the press despite only being able to get around in Venice by boat) and now a humanitarian mission. If she did all this away from the cameras she would have a lot more respect from me.

They have so much that it would do a LOT of good - - they could make an incredible impact whereas most of us could only make a barely discernible dent in the problem. Instead, they donate a percent or two of their bagillions and spend the rest on private jets, castles, renting out islands, ugly dark clothing, and the maintenance of Brad's goat beard. And then they expect praise to be heaped upon them for their trouble. It literally MAKES ME SICK.

Either embrace your shallow and materialistic existence or live a truly sacrificial and humble life. But to live like they do and then randomly pose for photos with the world's poor to 'raise awareness' (I'd also like to see how much impact these photo ops actually have) and to make a big fucking stink about how charitable they are is completely insincere.

These assholes don't give any more to charity than hundreds of other celebrities. They just pose for more photos and create a huge press shitstorm about every single one of their trite charitable endeavors (i.e., 'raising awareness' trips). They may have also learned a little bit about the problems faced by some of the people they visit, but GUESS THE FUCK WHAT?! There are a lot of people who are educated on the plight of displaced and poverty-stricken people around the globe - - it's just unusual for Hollywood. And I'm not about to get on my knees and praise Skankalina because she's slightly more in tune with the world than most of Hollyweird. She SHOULD be educated - - we all should be seeing as we're fucking inhabiting the same earth and it's our duty as citizens of this planet.

I wish people would stop getting on her for "not helping the kids in her own country' This country has so many social programs, its ridiculous. There's medicaid and low cost or free clinics for children & adults, WIC, food stamps, all sorts of free housing and housing vouchers, free public schools, vouchers and aid for charter schools, free after school programs, free public libraries, free tutoring after school, and on and on.
