I used to work with a similar butch bitch whose name was Kristine, but she prefered to be called Kris because it's gender-neutral. I'm sure Rojo likes to be addressed that way. She was hotter than Rojo because she wore trucker hats and had mullet haircut. We had heated argument in which she threatened to punch me and I didn't lift a finger or said a word because I still thought of her as a woman.

Forgive my ignorance y'all, but what is the point in dating a butch woman who wants to be a man and dresses up as such? Why not date men altogether? I can understand if Cynthia fell in love with the "inner being" but Rojo clearly cares about her looks and not looking anything remotely close to being effeminate.

I've noticed in the past that when couples ( or one of couple), loudly declare their love for each other by giving out too much info to the media , the relationship usually has about a year left.

Point is, whatever roles they're playing, neither of them are men and if they wanted *actual* men, they would have them. Butch and femme are just relative anyway. Like fat and thin. Cynthia would be the thin one only bc she's thinner than Rojo. And, you know, there are probably butchier women out there than Rojo. All that said, I know a lot of beautiful lesbian women who do not understand lesbians who go for very "masculine" women. So it's probably less about gay being "unnatural" so much as it is very natural that in relationships, one is more dominant, aggresive (masculine) and the other more passive (feminine). The yin and yang of it. The real interesting issue is what attributes we consider to be masculine and feminine and why, whether they are gay or not. And Cynthia sort of gets at that when she flips it and says she's actually more masculine, or butch.

Basically, Cynthia is saying she likes men, but Rojo is too good to pass by even though she is a woman. If I was Rojo, I'd think this is a weird ass comment and a bit of a red flag. "Hey, although you're a woman, I'm in love with you", well, fuck you.
