Here's the thing... I'm "Team Elin" as far as thinking that Tiger behaved atrociously and that she didn't deserve any of that. I think she probably love him when they married (I think he probably loved her, too).

However, I am not "Team Elin" when it comes to her wanting to take hundreds of millions of his dollars. Should he pay for behaving like a pig, time and time again? Of course. But he should pay by losing her as his wife, by losing the respect of society at large, by feeling humiliated and ashamed. He should pay full child support to care for his children. But if Elin is indeed asking for $750 million - even as a negociating tactic - then I'm on neither Team Elin or Team Tiger.

No matter how you try to spin it, Tiger is NOT the victim. He made a choice to marry a woman, have children with her, project a perfect image that allowed him to get mega-endorsements and then put her and his kids' health in danger by having unprotected sex (remember she was pregnant during one the affairs).

Just because it is "accepted" that athletes cheat, that does not mean it is okay and Elin has to take it sitting down. He could have easily NOT ever gotten married and been a whore. However, he wanted to have his cake and eat it too: the beautiful wife and children the perfect image, the most endorsements, AND fuck as many hoes with no consequence or protection. I mean, if she stays, she's "weak and staying for the money" and if she leaves, she's "a goldigging slut who married him only for money". These conclusions that others are now coming to are not based on 1 ounce of fact. Neither of their attorneys have released any statement regarding a divorce or settlement, it's only "nameless sources" that claim these things. Pretty sad that she's done nothing and the public has lambasted her to this degree, she's released no statement at all and has handled herself with dignity and public silence. She's never been seen, either now or in the far past ho-ing it up in the clubs either.

I'm in total agreement. Very much like the politician's wife who puts her life on hold to assist in creating and maintaining her husband's public image in order to get him (re)elected while he fucks everything that moves behind her back, Elin helped Tiger creating part of that fortune. I'm glad that unlike that politician's wife who meekly stands behind him while he makes his hypocritical "I'm sowwy I fucked that skank" speech at the press conference, Elin feels compelled to get what's hers.

Let's not forget that this is a woman who, despite having family monies, put herself through college by working as a nanny. I don't believe that she was being supported by her husband while she basked on his riches, I believe she chose not to get a job in order to help with raising their children and yes, assisting on getting all those fat endorsement deals. I don't know her, obviously, but I'm perfectly willing to believe that there are cases in which women marry rich guys for reasons other than to mooch off of them, and that Elin is the case.

If she needs manditory lifetime medicine (think AIDS cocktail of drugs) that can cost $50,000.00 or more per year. Yes, many famous/rich guys cheat. However, wasn't it Tiger Woods who proposed to Elin? Men know themselves enough to know if they can keep it in their pants are not. Why in the world would he (and other famous/rich guys) go through the trouble of marriage if the moment things get rock, your dick is gonna be in some other hoes snatch? The amount of money lost for a bad reputation doesn't justify why any of the 60% would want to enter into marriage.

It can't be to have kids. You can pay some chick (like Vin Diesel did) to carry your seed to term and then agree to pay her so many thousands each month to raise and care for the tots. Much cheaper and you can sleep with whomever you want.

As for Elin, I believe she (like most woman) looked for a mate who was financially stable enough to take care of her and however many kids she has.
