Tired of the freckle hate. It feels like I'm back on the grade school playground on these boards sometimes. Some people (like myself) freckle regardless on diligent sunscreen use. Just because you may not be used to seeing it, doesn't mean that it is "ugly" or "diseased". We all have different skin tones and types. That's one of the things that makes this world so interesting. Funny that people with loads of moles (which is most people it seems) are accepted, yet freckly types get crucified.

And, though I have a few freckles myself, freckles just skeeve me. I can't help it. It's like how some people are afraid of spiders. No matter how much you try to desensitize them, you can show them spider after spider after spider and they will still be overwhelmed with horror every time. That's how I feel about freckles. Especially when they're on ME.
I thank what powers may be that I only have a few light ones on my arms and nose...if I had freckles all over my stomach I couldn't stand it. Literally! I'd be cutting that shit off with an X-acto knife. Yeah, I know, I have issues. But yeah. Freckles. Cannot Deal.

A lot of people have freckles, and it's doesn't necessarily have to do with sun exposure. Redheads for example, or people with light skin. My husband has a lot on his upper back, I think it's ultra cute.
