In the mid-90s, Jamiroquai (which is iroquai for "Will Not Leave Your Ears") pretty much ruled the world with that Virtual Insanity shit. You could not escape it, because it was everywhere. At one point, I think my asshole started humming Virtual Insanity, because my farts sounded just like it. And even my piss tinkles sounded like the chorus of that song. Sometimes when I get on a moving walkway at an airport, I pretend I'm in that video. It's a mess.
Well, Jay Kay from Jamiroquai is back in a big way! And by that I mean that he's doing Cup Noodle commercials in Japan. Apparently, they dubbed his ass to sing, "I am hungry, I am hungry, I like Cup Noodle, I don't need other one."
And not only has that song returned to my head like a herpes outbreak, but now I have a craving for raw Cup Noodles. I mean, who actually cooks that shit?

I LOVE jay kay have all the Jamiroquai albums, he makes my life better.
I liked the original video, but it took away from the lyrics which are pretty damn good. The above video makes it REALLY hard to get the message.

Everyone (rightfully) piles on CaCa for ripping off (insert name of innovative groundbreaking female singer here), but why doesn't anyone go after Timberfake with the same fury? He has been draining the Jamiroquai well dry for the last decade or so.
Ugh I fucking hate this band. That Canned Heat shit with it's "I know this boogie is for real" crap makes me want to pull an Elizabeth Ray and beat this cunt like he's Bam Margera.
I like Canned Heat, too. It reminds me of that hot trash ballet movie "Center Stage". My fave would have to be Blow Your Mind, though. Love the video....

Much love for the little guy. Space Cowboy is my favorite(perfect get high song),along with Runaway, Seven Days in Sunny June, and Canned Heat.
"Virtual Insanity" was where I STOPPED liking their music as much - prob cause it just got so overplayed and drove me batty - but I LOVED Return of the Space Cowboy. I'm gonna go buy it after work! Perfect summertime music, mmm-hmmm.

I will admit that I have only heard 2 of Jamiroquai's songs. I hated Virtual Insanity, but loved Feels Just Like It Should. Both videos were awesome, though.

Jamiroquai used to and continues to annoy the shit out of me. I think they would play that shit in American Eagle when I would shop there in '95. To each his own, I guess. I do love some Ramen though and bought the "Oriental" flavor last night.
