This is some fuel that should keep the "Dave Chappelle is a crazed cokehead" bus rolling for a few more miles. A private jet going from New Jersey to Ohio was forced to make an emergency landing in Pittsburgh after Dave Chappelle freaked the pilot out by walking into the cockpit a few times and asking "Are we fucking there yet?!" Okay, those weren't Dave's exact words, but just go with it.
Sources say that Dave refused to stay seated and kept bothering the pilot. At one point, Dave grabbed at the pilot's arm. The crew labeled Dave as a safety risk and immediately landed at the nearest airport in Pittsburgh. The sources added that Dave wanted to rent a car to drive to Ohio, but he couldn't remember where he lives.
Dave's rep says that he was losing his shit (literally), because he ate something that was making his bowels want to blow and the bathroom on the plane wasn't the kind he needed.
HA. What in the GD Hell kind of excuse is that?! It would've made more sense if the rep explained this mess by simply saying, "He's Rick James, Bitch." I mean, special kind of bathroom? I do believe that when all else fails blame it on diarrhea, but even this excuse is too thick for me (that visual was not needed, I know).
That must have been a serious fly-killing shit if Dave required a special bathroom. Maybe he needed a bathroom with a strong enough ventilation system to eat up the weed smoke he blows out of his mouth when he's going caca. This is understandable. That said, hopefully the toilet Dave finally exhaled into lived to tell the tale.

I'm pretty sure that they use artists as they see fit and that an artist may never even know what purpose their serving until they start going against the grain; asking questions; wanting to do things their own way. I agree with you regarding Sony, the record company. When MJ said Tommy Mottola was a devilish man he wasn't kidding. Mooriah's marriage paid off because he bought her records and paid her way into radio stations to make her a success.
Then again, it's not surprising that every successful artist that Sony's ever had has fought to be released from their contracts and they end up ruined (hello George Michael).

We are treated like idiots, conditioned to believe everything we're fed and conditioned to believe that we're 'radical nutjobs' if we question the source. People need to look at every situation that's blown up in the media and ask themselves: Why?? What's the point? Where's the money in it? Who's getting rich? What's the back story? Why do 'they' want us to know that the oil rig in the Gulf blew up because it didn't have the necessary safety valves and equipment to prevent such a thing? Because, believe me, if no one's getting rich at either end as a result of such exposure it wouldn't be in the 'news' to begin with.
Going back to MJ, since he died, I have begun to seriously question EVERY thing. He is the billion dollar man in death. Who got rich? Who's getting rich? Who's getting richer still? Sony, that's who. Coincidence? Hell nah. Doesn't anyone give a damn that a murder was constructed and committed on the world's stage? In other words, they agree to do it. They 'sell their souls for rock n roll.' In Dave Chappelle's case, he was ridden out of town on a blazing saddle, not so much because of the mafia (although I take your point on that one) but because of the much higher tier powers that exist within the industry. He was not from that world and he rejected it unlike Frank Sinatra who loved the association. He believed in himself, struggled A LOT and figured if he made it on his own at least he could sleep well at night. He was not chasing the dollar (back then) He loved what he did, loved the live experience of working in clubs and believed in his talent even if nobody else did.
He tells this story often because I'm sure he knew or knows people who went the other route and have paid accordingly. .
