Dr. Frank Ryan Killed In A Car Accident
Dr. Frank Ryan, the plastic surgeon who scooped out Heidi Montag's back and turned her into an inside/out Barbie, died in a Jeep accident in Malibu yesterday afternoon. Dr. Frank was only 50 years old.
TMZ reports that Dr. Frank and his border collie Jill were driving along Pacific Coast Highway when for whatever reason his Jeep went over the side and landed on the rocks. The Ventura County Fire Department and lifeguards tried to save Dr. Frank, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Jill was found in the ocean and is being treated for serious injuries at an animal hospital.
Just a few minutes before the accident, Dr. Frank Tweeted a picture of Jill with the message: "Border collie jill surveying the view from atop the sand dune."
Since Heidi Montag can't physically push out tears, she cried via Twitter about the death of her doctor:

uhm maybe the dog leaned a little to far out the window...ive heard of accidents happen that way people pull down their car windows so the dogs can stick out their heads and maybe this one leaned out and the doc reached to catch him and turned the steering wheel as well...just saying it could be a possibility...im sure i also saw it in a movie as well....anyway california law also says that u have to have a special seat belt for ur dogs for excactly that reason...so dogs do not distract the drivers....

I think M.E. pointed it out earlier as well and I'm not sure why it's still assumed he was tweeting so it's worth repeating. Whatever you think about his "work" (which I think is hideous), the guy might have just lost control of that vehicle...and that sucks. For him and the dog.

HH - BH is the only driver for his company without a CB. ANd they won't pay for, or reimburse him for a blue tooth.

Hmm. The DMV and CHP websites say first offense is $20 and $50 there after, but BH got one and it was $250, first offense
it's the fees that get you! MR.HH also got one.. first offense.. $250.00 they add like $100 for "court fees" because you actually have to go and step inside the court. I honestly wish it was more. I fucking HATE when I see people doing it.

There is nothing 'treacherous' about the PCH in Malibu - we have ourself driven it many dozens of times with no problem.
i don't think anybody in here is being cynical and laughing at the fact that a 50yo guy died a sudden and unnatural death. nobody is also denying that he did a lot of good things as a surgeon (not just useless celebrity make-overs). we're just condemning the fact that he died while tweeting and posting pics. THAT is in fact a very stupid thing to do.
