But if you are an "underrepresented minority" (that means NOT Asian), you don't even have to be in the top 10% in any category to have these schools throwing likely letters and huge scholarships at you.

In America, underrepresented minorities have MORE opportunities than whites and Asians. So if they can't make something happen despite this fact, then I would appreciate if someone turned the volume on that 'whine' down.

Second, I would have felt the same way if I were Kanye. He was set up to look a certain way no matter what his response to Matt's questions were. First off. Kanye SHOULD have hired a PROFESSIONAL firm to do his PR. Not these "fabulous" celebrity publicists that don't do SHIT.

As a PR hack, I would have NOT put Kanye on the Today Show until he was properly briefed on what he SHOULD have said. Matt was condensing saying everyone makes a mistake. Duh! A good crisis manager would have provided Kanye with the right soundbites and go from there.

Kanye's reaction to the playback tape shows he suffers from some attention deficit. Can't he speak over the sound? Well. Apparently, not! He should have politely pulled the ear piece off his ear and continued speaking if the playback annoyed him.

Not trying to defend Kanye because calling Bush a racist went a little too far, but what he was doing was expressing his frustration with the Bush administration's slow response to Hurricane Katrina. But that should be expected, as the Bush admin was also slow to respond to the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Hell, we're still trying to find Bin Laden, which should have been first priority, but NO, they decided to take over Iraq instead of focusing on a man who is 100 percent responsible for those attacks.

Kanye does bring up valid points in his Lauer interview, but Lauer is an asshole, so I can't take him seriously anyway.
