Heidi Klum In A Mondo Original
Gretchen Jones, the lip-challenged Mii avatar who is best known for designing a caca-colored diaper, might have won Project Runway, but Heidi Klum wore runner-up Mondo Guerra's finale dress to the Black Swan premiere in Los Angeles last night. Except Heidi took a machete to the sleeves.
And in the spirit of Michael Kors, Heidi looks like the graveyard shift hostess at a Lady Miss Kier theme restaurant in the suburbs of Amsterdam.

The dress looks very, very cheap! Now I know why Michael and Neeeena did not like Mondo's final collection. Basically, this season, they just did not have the same level of talents as they did when Christian, Jillian and, Hottie McHottie, Rami were the contenders. Actually, there hasn't been that level of talents on Project Runway in a long while now.
Even Dwight Eubanks is pissing himself over this one...

Mondo sucks, his clothes are not wearable. In this economy, if you're trying to make it as a designer, that's kinda sorta important. Dee Lite would love this look.

If you look at this dress for 10 seconds and then close your eyes the pattern pops up again. It's fun (if you have absolutely nothing else going on on a Saturday morning, that is).
It's like Magic Eye! I remember those things would be in the Sunday paper. I could never see the hidden images tho :(

Don't give a rat's ass about Project Runaway, but the Lady Miss Kier reference was on point, MK, and it took me back to my raver college roommate.

The dress would be more flattering it was shorter and showed off Heidi's gams.
That wasn't my fav dress from Mondo but he rocked. Gretchen's shit was ugly stuff I see at the hippy thrift store down the street.
Well, that was very cool of her, but the dress is ugly, IMO. The blacks don't match up, which makes it look like it's from Forever 21.
But I appreciate and applaud her for wearing it. She looks great anyway.
I thought a few of Mondo's looks were pretty cool, but Gretchen was far better overall this season (just look at the first challenge dress and the eyeshadow challenge dress. She deserved to win for those two looks alone!). And Mondo also had a couple of interesting runway looks, but this was not one of them. It's something that someone in their second year of school would make to look 'modern'. I like Mondos personality a lot (nearly cried when he told his story about having Aids) but he definitely did second place work.
meh, I've seen worse. Frau Klum could wear a burlap sack and still look hotter than 99% of the heaux on the block.

I like Mondo but that dress looks off on her. To pull it off you'd need a whimsical sense of style, like with China Chow or Bjork. Heidi looks good in classic sexpot clothes.

The dress is hideous but I love the back. I have been on a misson for months now looking for backless numbers (mostly black like that dress Michelle Williams wore in that McGregor/Jackman movie) but it is damn near impossible to find anything.

I must say, it looks cheaper here than it did on the runway. Like it came from the Deb shop at a mall in Utica. And I am a HUGE Mondo fan and had to take to my bed when Gretchen was proclaimed the winner. Of course, I don't think Heidi's chunky sandals are helping matters, but then again, what other shoes would look right with that dress? ... I am putting entirely too much thought into this for the Friday happy hour.

Despite the dress, Heidi looks damn good, especially for a mom who has had like 4 kids in a short period of time. Her arms look toned and that's a hard feat to manage as you get into your 30s.

The dress looked good on the runway; it looks terrible here on Heidi. My first thought, "Oh, she's pregnant, AGAIN."
Not the prettiest dress but not many women can pull of a pattern like that and not look huge.
