Interesting--you're the first person to suggest that. The British press often translates Americanisms (even in quotes)so they're better understood: knickers for panties, lorries for trucks, etc. I don't think black Brits speak like black Americans. And while Will Smith grew up in West Philly, Willow sure didn't.

One thing that I really want to know is, was Willow unsupervised when she gave this interview? She sounds like she was because had she been with one of her parents or a tutor or a guardian of some sorts she would either not have said that or the guardian would have had interjected. Which leads me to believe that either a) Will and Jada are letting their 10-year old daughter handle journalists on her own or b) they aren't and they are actually proud that Willow is skipping school to be a dumbass on a stage.

Dr. Phil (I know, I know) says that instead of thinking, "Oh, I have to go to work today" that you change it to "Oh, I get to go to work today." Like you should look at it in a positive way, because, for example, having a job is a good thing and lots of people would love to be able to go to work.
