Open Post: Hosted By Rickie From My So-Called Life
Who knew that in between spreading freshly burnt liner around his eyes in the girls' bathroom with Rayanne and Angela, Rickie was working out his abs with a Thigh Master and bench pressing Jordan Catalano (which isn't that hard since Jordan is the size of a lasagna noodle) in the school gym? Damn. Here's Wilson Cruz flashing his nipples at Splash Bar in NYC last night. I so would, even if he still had hair like Webster's mom.

I swear I gave up on TV after "My So-Called Life" went off the air. That show was SO good and WIlson Cruz was my fave!! THANKS for featuring him! Abs or no abs I miss seeing him on TV regularly tho I know he has acted since then.

That Angel character reminds me of a friend in 8th grade who was flamboyantly gay in school. Meanwhile, he was living with his ex-cholo dad (and two younger brothers). He was a real macho-type Mexican who showed up to school once to pull him out of the play in which he played a transvestite (I don't think his dad ever knew what character he was playing).
He made his own clothes and had several wigs. We would always asked him how he managed to hide all this stuff from his dad.
That summer, his dad beat him at the school campus for skipping class and he was sent away to one of those places where teens live together (name?). I haven't heard from him since and I hope he is doing well.

So tomorrow night we have made plans as a family to pile into my son's fiance's SUV and tour this festival of lights thing.
We do it every year.
It's a nice slow one-way drive through a county park all decorated with thousands of Christmas lights, $12 a carload and it benefits a charity.
But my daughter, who is 9mos pregnant, is terrified that she will go into labor while we're there and be trapped in the sparkly pretty winter wonderland and nobody will let us out.
I was just reading that a prisoner filed a lawsuit against the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections for $75,000 in damages for being forced to watch "Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami." He claimed severe emotional distress. LMAO

I was lucky enough to always have a nearly perfect complexion.
I never use soap on my face, just water. And I have used Johnson's baby lotion on my face/whole body since I was about 18- some 30 years.
I'm really ugly though. But my skin is nice
first of all.. there are no ugly women ok.. just ask Jack he will hit a n y thing.
I don't use soap either and I don't use 20 different products every night. In fact, I don't even wash my face if I am really tired. I do however scrub my face with honey once in a while.

Seeing Ricky Vasquez made me think on teen angst from back in the days.
I was giggling today at a slightly overweight, obviously lonely board who was on 60 minutes talking about how she can remember every detail of her life.
She said recalling the exact days was not a good thing cause she remembers changing schools at 13 and how traumatic that was.
Ugh bitch. Days I'd like to forget:
August 17, 2009 when I had emergency surgery to save my son's life. My placenta was tearing and I had only a few minutes to make it out alive.
September 11, 2001 -- Seeing those buildings fall from Broadway and running like a maniac.
Add that to the years of a bad marriages, months of morning sickness, my son's heart surgery, my daughter close to dying from a blood infection, surgeries of various kinds, losing my father young to a heart attack.
Yea, fat bitch. Switching schools is very traumatic.
Teen years are so fucking brutal. roll eyes back into my head.

I checked out the lunar eclipse last night from my roof...not impressed. And my stoned neighbour was up there too being annoying.

I used every soap known to man and manufacturer and always got acne. Pissed me off. Then I tried Camay (the original, in pink) and it all went away. I scrub my face/nose with one of those scratchy sponges with Camay on it (purchased at my local Chevron, I can't find it in ANY grocery store) and the blackheads went away too. Please don't try the tape, that memory f--ks with my sanity.
