From what I've read and what Octomom said on Oprah, she has been offered reality shows but has turned them down. On Oprah she said she doesn't want to "exploit" her kids. My guess is that if she did do a show, it would be ample ammunition for CPS to remove her kids.

As someone who worked (kinda works now) in the Special Ed. field I have seen parents BANKRUPT and do anything to get their kids therapies or ANYTHING they need...She had at least one autistic child (with the six) when she opted to go for more and I find that horrible. I mean, let alone 6 kids, add in a few disorders and think having 8 more is doable? I believe that she thought this would be a cash cow and it hasn't worked out like she wanted. Suze Orman is right. This woman needs to do whatever it takes to care for her children. If the Kardashians can make money off of people's stupidity, then Octomom too should be able to capitalize off of the shitstorm the media has encouraged around her story in order to provide for her family.
