I too will be cheering for Deutschland, they're my all time favorite team; I hope it comes down to Italy v Germany. I was hoping that the 2010 WC wouldn't be a repeat of 2006 but here we; can't complain though that game against Argentina was epic.

g'evening Mickey. i guess this is a "location location location" type of thing -- a lot of upheaval in the US during 70s, but perhaps not in The Netherlands

on a diff subj, i so wish there was a dlisted photo share so i could show you the photos i took when there. in particular, got private visit into the stables and got shots of the Heineken horses in their living quarters. i also went to museums. but, Dutch horsies!!!!! i've not looked at the Budweiser clydesdales the same since

Mickey, it's funny but I don't remember the shoes. I do remember that they had a quota for me, $250. That was how much I had to make per day whoring myself. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make it, I kept telling them, "You do realize that I'm not in my 20s anymore?" But the cult zombies just didn't care. And get this, the epicenter of the cult was in Europe, like Belgium maybe? It's hard to remember all the details now. Anyway, that was where their leader was. I was stuck somehow in a missionary colony of his in the States. And the cult was all female, all followers of this guy with a name that sounded somewhat Germanic. Some of the women were pregnant from the prostituting, but they insisted this guru guy was the father of their babies.

I was having issues with TSN. ESPN won't work for me at all because of my location. It kept freezing up on me. I'll try Veetle.com for the next game. Thanks.
I'm glad there are other soccer freaks out there. It is my favourite sport!

I had some luck with live streams on veetle.com. Go under categories, sports and go from there. There were two or three streams, and one with GREAT quality. ( i watched the Portugal Game at work on Thursday)
I love soccer. Like a nut I will be sitting at home ( i` ll ask the boss if I can leave early) with my Jersey, Germany-scarf and facepaint.
While I can`t say we have a GREAT team, they always surprise me when it gets to Quarterfinals and Semifinals (unfortunately we haven`t won any finals since 1996 (eurocup) and 1990 (worldcup), but we got so fucking close every time we could TASTE IT. As long as we arent going into overtime, cause i dont think my heart can handle it.

In other news, the way is now clear for the civil lawsuits and there will be several. They won't go after Sandusky; they're going to go after Penn State as they should. The issue here is Penn State is a state school which means once these suits get adjudicated and Penn State's insurance runs out, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be liable for the remainder. Pennsylvania is already bankrupt.

And third of note is there are very strong rumors that emails exist from the now-fired President of the college telling the sender the college wouldn't pursue an investigation of the allegations against Sandusky. Why? Because he didn't want the allegations to "embarrass" Sandusky or the football program.

What a world.
